......Background: The COVID-19 affects dental practice, including orthodontic practice. The immense risk of COVID19 in dental practice leads to restrictions on the services by prioritizing urgency and emergency treatment. COVID-19 also affects orthodontist concern for orthodontic treatment and financial aspects. Objective: To provide an overview of urgency and emergency treatments in orthodontic practice as well as the level of orthodontist concern for orthodontic treatment and financial aspects during COVID-19. Method: This research is a cross-sectioned descriptive study using online survey to 97 registered orthodontists. Result: The 25.5% urgency case happened on fixed stainless-steel appliance due to breakage of arch wires or causing injuries (19.9%), whereas 73.3% emergency case caused mostly due to poor oral hygiene. The level of concern for orthodontic treatment and financial impacts during COVID-19 was really high (mean 9.10±0.93 and 8.39±1.67), whilst the orthodontists were concern more to the effect on treatment rather than financial aspect. Conclusion: During COVID-19, the most urgent orthodontic treatment happened mostly on fixed stainless-steel appliance because of the archwire and emergency treatment happened because of the negligence of the oral hygiene. The level of orthodontist concern is both really high with more concern on orthodontic care than financial aspects.
