The authors present a survey applied to 368 manufacturing industries in order to determine their level of execution of TPM. Then a series of causal models are presented. For each model, the authors present a measure of the dependency between the critical success factors and the benefits obtained, allowing industry managers to differentiate between essential and non-essential activities. The content also allows students and academics to obtain a theoretical and empirical basis on the importance of TPM as a lean manufacturing tool in the context of industry 4.0."

"Pemeliharaan peralatan pada pelayanan jasa laboratorium merupakan bagian dari manajemen mutu untuk menjaga peralatan dalam kondisi baik, aman, handal, konsisten serta akurat. Untuk menjamin kualitas dan mengurangi kerugian kegagalan peralatan mesin, diperlukan pendekatan metode pemeliharaan. Total Productive Maintenance TPM sebagai konsep pemeliharaan yang menjaga dan meningkatkan kualitas produk dengan memperbaiki kondisi kerja mesin, dan mengurangi kegagalan.
Pengukuran TPM dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Overall Equipment Efektiveness OEE untuk meningkatkan kinerja organisasi yang terdiri dari tiga komponen utama yaitu availability, performance rate dan quality rate. Hasil pengukuran OEE kemudian dianalisis dengan bantuan diagram pareto dan fishbone. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai OEE rata-rata masih rendah dari standar world class, dimana nilai availability 84 , performance rate 67 , quality rate 99 dan nilai OEE 56.
Equipment maintenance on laboratory services is part of quality management to keep equipment in good condition, safe, reliable, consistent and accurate. To ensure quality and reduce the loss of machine equipment failure, a maintenance method approach is required. Total Productive Maintenance TPM as a maintenance concept that maintains and improves product quality by improving machine working conditions, and reducing failure. TPM measurement is done using Overall Equipment Effectiveness OEE method to improve organizational performance, which consists of three main components namely availability, performance rate and quality rate. The results of OEE measurements were then analyzed with the help of pareto and fishbone diagrams. The results show that the average OEE score is still lower than the world class standard, where the availability is 84, the performance rate is 67 , the quality level is 99 and the OEE value is 56."

"Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) sebagai program manajemen pemeliharaan telah terbukti nyata dengan penerapan yang luas dalam bidang manufaktur dapat meningkatkan produktivitas sehingga kegiatan pemeliharaan tidak lagi menjadi sumber pengeluaran biaya bagi perusahaan. Pertumbuhan industri penerbangan menarik minat pengelola bandara untuk menerapkan TPM dalam kegiatan pemeliharaan, sehingga diharapkan mampu meningkatkan produktivitas perusahaan terutama dengan penurunan biaya pemeliharaan, dengan tetap terpenuhinya standar keselamatan, keamanan dan kenyamanan bagi para pelanggannya. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada salah satu kegiatan utama yaitu pemeliharaan fasilitas landasan, dengan mengukur OEE (Overall Equipment effectiveness) dan produktivitas parsial bandara, analisanya merupakan masukan dalam perancangan penerapan TPM yang mengacu pada tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan awal, pelaksanaan' dan pemantapan. Hasil penelitian adalah rancangan rencana induk TPM yang dapat diterapkan pada jasa pengelolaan bandara khususnya fasilitas pemeliharaan landasan.

"Penelitian ini dilakukan pada salah satu industri komponen alat berat yang sedang mengimplementasikan TPM yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan daya saing perusahaannya. Namun pencapaian Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) selama tahun fiskal 2014 rata-rata 58.20%, berada di bawah target kinerja TPM berupa OEE minimum 85%. Usaha yang dilakukan belum mengarah kepada perbaikan implementasi TPM yang menyeluruh, ditambah lagi diharuskannya TQM dijalakan di perusahaan pada tahun
fiskal 2015. Belum adanya indikator kinerja TPM yang mempertimbangkan faktor-faktor TQM yang sedang dijalankan di perushaan tersebut. Oleh karena itu tujuan penelitian ini untuk merancang indikator kinerja TPM menggunakan faktor-faktor TQM. Indikator kinerja yang berpengaruh terhadap keberhasilan TPM diidentifikasi melalui FGD dengan melibatkan 5 responden dari internal dan external perusahaan yang expert di bidang TPM, TQM dan Continuous Improvement. Hasil yang dapat disimpulkan dari penelitian ini adalah mendapatkan 11 indikator kinerja peningkatan TPM dengan mempertimbangkan 4 faktor-faktor TQM yang terpilih, yaitu: Customer Focus (0,96), Training (0,87), Top Management Leadership (0,85), dan Continuous Improvement (0,76). 11 indikator kinerja TPM tersebut terdefinisikan dengan jelas dan terukur.
This study was performed in a heavy equipment components manufacturer that implements TPM in order to improve its competitiveness. However, the achievement of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) in the fiscal year of 2014 is an average of 58.20%, it is below the TPM target performance of OEE minimum is 85%. The initistives have been done not lead to improve the TPM implementation, in addition TQM also mustbe applied in the fiscal year of 2015. Since the lack of TPM performance indicators that considers the TQM factors, therefore the aim of this study is to design TPM performance indicators by using TQM factors. The performance indicators that influence the success of the TPM identified through FGD by involving five respondents from internal and external company whom experts in the fields of TPM, TQM and Continuous Improvement. The results can be concluded from this research is defining 11 TPM performance indicators by considering four factors TQM, such as Customer Focus (0.96), Training (0.87), Top Management Leadership (0.85) and Continuous Improvement (0.79). Those TPM performance indicators are clearly defined and measurable."

"Permintaan pelumas di Indonesia setiap tahun semakin meningkat, dan saat ini sudah mencapai 1,3KL/tahun. Namun, kemampuan dalam negeri hanya mampu memproduksi sekitar 900 ribu KL/tahun. Pemegang pangsa pasar terbesar di Indonesia untuk industri pelumas adalah PT. Pertamina Lubricants, sebesar 58%. Untuk memenuhi permintaan tersebut, Unit Produksi PT. Pertamina Lubricants harus memiliki sistem produksi yang efektif dan efisien. Salah satu metode untuk menganalisis tingkat efektivitas suatu mesin atau lini produksi adalah dengan menggunakan Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). PT. Pertamina Lubricants menetapkan target OEE sebesar 70%. Namun, selama Januari 2021 hingga Juli 2021, OEE tertinggi hanya mencapai 67%. Dalam penelitian ini, studi komprehensif dilakukan di Production Unit Jakarta (PUJ) PT. Pertamina Lubricants untuk mencari faktor utama penyebab rendahnya nilai efektifitas khususnya pada filling line 04 (FL-04). Nilai OEE tertinggi diperoleh pada Agustus 2021 hingga Februari 2022 hanya mencapai 69,05%. Kerugian signifikan utama di FL-04 adalah Idling and Minor Stop Losses, serta Setup and Adjustment Losses, berdasarkan teori Six Big Loss dan Diagram Pareto. Akar masalah ditemukan dengan menggunakan diagram Fishbone. Penilaian Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) dilakukan sebagai saran untuk meningkatkan efektivitas PUJ. Sepuluh solusi diusulkan berdasarkan sepuluh mode kegagalan. Beberapa solusi sementara diterapkan di PUJ selama kurang lebih tiga minggu, dan ditemukan bahwa nilai OEE pada FL-04 setelah perbaikan sedikit meningkat sekitar 2% dari rata-rata nilai OEE dari Agustus 2021 hingga Februari 2022.
The demand for lubricants in Indonesia is increasing every year, and now it has reached 1.3KL/year. However, the domestic capability is only capable of producing around 900 thousand KL/year. The largest market share holder in Indonesia for the lubricant industry is PT. Pertamina Lubricants, by 58%. To meet the demand, the Production Unit of PT. Pertamina Lubricants must have an effective and efficient production system. One of the methods to analyze the level of effectiveness of a machine or production line is to use Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). PT. Pertamina Lubricants set an OEE target of 70%. However, during January 2021 to July 2021, the highest OEE only reached 67%. In this research, a comprehensive study was conducted at the Production Unit Jakarta (PUJ) of PT. Pertamina Lubricants to seek the main factors that cause the low value of the effectiveness, especially in filling line 04 (FL-04). The highest OEE value obtained from August 2021 to February 2022 only reached 69.05%. The main significant losses in FL-04 are Idling and Minor Stop Losses, and Setup and Adjustment Losses, based on the theory of Six Big Losses and Pareto Diagrams. The root of the problem was found using the Fishbone diagram. The Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) assessment was made for suggestions to improve the effectiveness in PUJ. Ten solutions were proposed based on ten failure modes. Several temporary solutions were implemented at PUJ for about three weeks, and it was found that the OEE value on FL-04 after the repair was a slight increase of about 2% from the average OEE value from August 2021 to February 2022."
