"This research project is a study on transportation planning in Indonesia. Currently, there are areas with traffic problems in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to select the area with traffic problems, analyze the existing condition of the area through the case study, find out the problem, analyze the problem and find the solution.
The case study was run in the following way. First, investigate the existing condition of the Tanjung Benoa region, the target area. The survey includes general information, land use status, geology and coastal geomorphology, regional economic development, and traffic condition. When the current status of the target area is completed, an analysis of the current status is carried out. Therefore, look at the traffic problems that the target area has with the results of the surveys. Furthermore, begin to analyze the problem in the target area. Finally, based on the analysis results, present a solution to solve the problem in the target area. The solution is based on the theory of the ring road presented before the case study and presents the solution and analyzes the solution. The solution of this case study is build a ring road which is passing through the Serangan-Tanjung Benoa.
This study analyzes the strength, weakness, opportunity, and threat of the Bali Tanjung Benoa ring road, which is presented as a solution through SWOT analysis after analyzing the solution. The analyzed results explained the validity of the target area solution. Furthermore, transportation planning in South Korea also given to analyze the SWOT. Moreover, comparative analyze of two country are done and showed difference of transportation planning between Indonesia and South Korea.

Proyek penelitian ini adalah studi tentang perencanaan transportasi di Indonesia. Saat ini, ada daerah dengan masalah lalu lintas di Indonesia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memilih area dengan masalah lalu lintas, menganalisis kondisi wilayah yang ada melalui studi kasus, mencari tahu masalah, menganalisis masalah dan mencari solusinya.
Studi kasus dijalankan dengan cara berikut. Pertama, selidiki kondisi eksisting kawasan Tanjung Benoa, area target. Survei ini meliputi informasi umum, status penggunaan lahan, geologi dan geomorfologi pantai, perkembangan ekonomi regional, dan kondisi lalu lintas. Ketika status wilayah target saat ini selesai, analisis status saat ini dilakukan. Oleh karena itu, lihat masalah lalu lintas yang daerah target miliki dengan hasil survei. Selanjutnya, mulailah menganalisis masalah di area target. Akhirnya, berdasarkan hasil analisis, menyajikan solusi untuk memecahkan masalah di area target. Solusinya didasarkan pada teori jalan lingkar yang disajikan sebelum studi kasus dan menyajikan solusi dan menganalisis solusi. Solusi dari studi kasus ini adalah membangun jalan lingkar yang melewati Serangan-Tanjung Benoa.
Studi ini menganalisis kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman dari jalan lingkar Bali Tanjung Benoa, yang disajikan sebagai solusi melalui analisis SWOT setelah menganalisis solusi. Hasil analisis menjelaskan validitas solusi area target. Selanjutnya, perencanaan transportasi di Korea Selatan juga diberikan untuk menganalisa SWOT. Selain itu, analisis komparatif dua negara dilakukan dan menunjukkan perbedaan perencanaan transportasi antara Indonesia dan Korea Selatan.

"Transportasi merupakan salah satu kebutuhan hidup manusia yang semakin meningkat seiring dengan perkembangan kehidupan manusia. Oleh karena itu dalam memenuhi kebutuhan jasa transportasi perlu adanya perencanaan transportasi. Salah satu tahap perencanaan transportasi ialah Pemilihan Moda Transportasi atau Moda Choice yang digunakan untuk menganalisa pemilihan moda transportasi di masyarakat. Dalam penulisan skripsi ini dilakukan analisa pemilihan moda transportasi antara angkutan umum dan sepeda motor dengan menggunakan model Binomial Logit Selisih.
Metode yang digunakan ialah dengan melakukan survey wawancara rumah tangga di beberapa wilayah kelurahan di kota Depok. Sedangkan untuk pengolahan data digunakan alat bantu software Microsoft Excel dan SPSS v.13.0. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh permodelan yang dapat menganalisa probabilitas pemilihan dan penggunaan moda transportasi antara angkutan umum dan sepeda motor dan faktor-faktor yang paling mempengaruhi atau mendukung masyarakat dalam pemilihan moda transportasi tersebut adalah total waktu perjalanan dan total biaya perjalanan.

Transportation is one of human essential needs, which always grows along with the development of human life. Therefore, to fullfil the transportation needs, transportation planning is one thing to be concerned. One of transportation planning steps is mode choice, and it is used to analyze public mode choice. This thesis is using Difference Logit Binomial to analyze transportation mode choice between pubic transportation dan motorcycle.
The thesis is using home interview survey method in Depok area. Microsoft Excel and SPSS v.13.0 are used to help the data processing. From the processing, the model that represents transportation mode choice between public transportation and motorcycle probability can be obtained and the influencing factors to people in transportation mode choice are total trip time and total cost."

"Kemacetan di DKI Jakarta merupakan masalah yang sering terjadi dari tahun ke tahun. Hal tersebut terjadi karena tingkat perpindahan masyarakat terjadi pada waktu serentak dengan jumlah yag sangat besar. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut pemerintah sudah mengerluarkan beberapa peraturan dan kebijakan yang membatasi pergerakan transportasi pribadi dan meningkatkan layanan transportasi umum. Untuk meningkatkan keinginan masyarkat menggunakan layanan transportasi umum, luas jangkauan layanan harus ditingkatkan sehingga pengguna akan lebih mudah dalam aksesibilitas. Penelitian ini berfokus pada penempatan lokasi baru yang dapat dibangun oleh bus non-BRT Transjakarta menggunakan metode optimasi set covering problem sebagai salah satu cabang dari penelitan operasi dengan tujuan untuk menentukan lokasi yang baru sehingga mampu menjangkau daerah yang belum terlayani. Hasil dari model optimasi mampu meningkatkan jumlah daerah tercover sebanyak 7,3 persen dengan membangun sebanyak 160 lokasi pemberhentian baru. Masih terdapat daerah yang belum terlayani dikarenakan daerah tersebut tidak berpenghuni atau tidak memiliki infrastruktur yang memadai.

Traffic congestion in DKI Jakarta is a problem that occurs every year. This happens because of the mass mobility occurs at the same time and in a very large number. To overcome this problem, the government has issued several regulations and policies to limit the movement of private transportation and improve public transportation services. In order to increase the public's desire to use public transportation services, the area of services must be expanded so that users will have easier access to public transport. This study focus on the placement of new bus stop locations for non-BRT Transjakarta buses using the set covering problem optimization method as a branch of operations research with the aim of determining new locations that able to reach unserved areas. The results of the optimization model were able to increase the number of areas covered by 7.3 percent by placing 160 new stopping locations. However, there are still areas that have not been served because of several reasons such as the area is uninhabited or does not have adequate infrastructure.
