"ABSTRAK
Era yang semakin terbuka dengan informasi memunculkan berbagai tren fashion yang menggeser fungsi utama fashion yang semula hanya sebagai penutup dan pelindung tubuh berubah menjadi lambang status maupun identitas dalam kehidupan sosial bagi sebagian orang, khususnya bagi mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana karakteristik lokasi belanja pakaian mahasiswa UI yang terdiri dari image pusat perbelanjaan, klasifikasi fungsi jalan, jumlah trayek angkutan umum, dan jarak dari stasiun KRL berdasarkan motivasi belanja yang diterdiri dari utilitarian dan hedonis. Dalam mencapai tujuan penelitian, digunakan metode analisis deskriptif dengan Microsoft Excel dan analisis kuantitatif dengan uji chi square SPSS dari hasil penyebaran kuisioner dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah motivasi belanja mahasiswa dipengaruhi oleh karakteristik lokasi belanjanya, sehingga ada kecenderungan perbedaan karakteristik lokasi belanja pakaian menurut motivasi belanjanya. Motivasi utilitarian yang didominasi oleh mahasiswa laki-laki dengan pendapatan sedang yang memilih pusat perbelanjaan dengan image, murah, jumlah trayek angkutan umum yang sedang, dan dekat dari stasiun KRL. Sedangkan pada motivasi hedonis didominasi oleh mahasiswa perempuan dengan pendapatan tinggi yang memilih pusat perbelanjaan dengan image, elite, jumlah trayek angkutan umum yang rendah dan berjarak jauh dari stasiun KRL.

ABSTRACT
The ever expanding era with information spawned a variety of fashion trends that shifted the ultimate fashion functionality that was merely a cover and a body protector transformed into a symbol of status and identity in social life for some, especially for students. This study aims to determine how the characteristics of clothing shopping location UI students consisting of the type of shopping center, the classification of road functions, the number of public transport routes, and distance from KRL stations based on spending motivation from utilitarian and hedonis. In achieving the purpose of research, used descriptive analysis method with Microsoft Excel and quantitative analysis with chi square SPSS test of the results of questionnaire distribution by purposive sampling technique. The results obtained from this study is the motivation of student spending is influenced by the characteristics of shopping location, so there is a tendency of differences in the characteristics of clothing shopping location according to the motivation of shopping. A utilitarian motivation dominated by male students with medium income who choose shopping centers with cheap rdquo image, medium number of public transport route, and near from KRL station. While the hedonic motivation is dominated by female students with high income who choose shopping center with ldquo elite rdquo image, the number of public transport route is low and far from KRL station."

"Penelitian dalam dunia periklanan mengungkapkan bahwa ras seorang model yang muncul dalam iklan sering mempengaruhi sikap penonton terhadap pesan dari iklan tersebut (White & Harkins, 1994). Salah satu etnis yang sering muncul dalam iklan di Indonesia adalah etnis Tionghoa. Etnis Tionghoa merupakan etnis yang menguasai perekonomian di Indonesia. Selain itu beberapa penelitian menyebutkan bahwa jenis produk yang digunakan (utilitarian dan hedonis) juga berpengaruh terhadap sikap konsumen terhadap iklan. Penelitian ini akan membahas penggunaan model beretnis tertentu dalam iklan. Apakah persamaan etnis dan jenis produk (utilitarian& hedonis)  akan mempengaruhi nilai produk yang dirasakan konsumen menjadi lebih positif. Desain Eksperimen factorial adalah desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil yang didapatkan dalam penelitian ini adalah etnis model yang digunakan dalam iklan tidak mempengaruhi penilaian konsumen terhadap barang yang diiklankan, tetapi jenis produk mempengaruhi penilain konsumen terhadap produk tersebut.

Research in the advertising reveals that the race of a model that appears in advertisements would give some influence to audience's attitude towards the message of the advertisement (White & Harkins, 1994). One ethnicity that often appears in advertisements in Indonesia is Chinese. Chinese ethnicity is an ethnic group that controls the economy in Indonesia. In addition, several studies state that the types of products used (utilitarian and hedonic) also affect consumer attitudes towards advertising. This study will discuss the use of certain ethnic models in advertisements. Whether ethnic equality and type of product (utilitarian & hedonic) will affect the value of the product that consumers feel to become more positive. Factorial Experimental Design is the design that is used in this study. The results obtained in this study are that the ethnic model that is used in the advertisement does not affect the consumer's assessment of the products which is advertised, but the product type give some influence to value of product."

"Perkembangan teknologi saat merubah perilaku masyakarat yang cendrung senang berbelanja melalui pasar digital atau e commere. Sehingga Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh perubahan perilaku konsumen dengan motivasi belanja hedonic dan utilitarian motivasi serta product browsing terhadap online impulsif buying (pembelian impulsif) dengan produk browsing sebagai variabel mediasi produk kosmetik dan fashion konsumen Shopee Jabodetabek. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menyebarkan 150 kusioner secara online dan offline apakah konsumen shopee Jabodetabek pernah melalukan pembelian tidak terencana khususnya produk fashion dan kosmetik. Penentuan sampel dilakukan dengan non-probability dengan purposive sampling. Teknis analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Analisis Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) menggunakan smartpls3. Hasil penelitian ini bahwa motivasi belanja hedonic dan utilitarian serta product browsing memiliki pengaruh terhadap online impulsif buying dengan product browsing sebagai variabel mediasi.

So this study aims to analyze the effect of changes in consumer behavior by motivating hedonic shopping and utilitarian motivation as well as product browsing on impulsive online buying with browsing products as a mediating variable for cosmetics and fashion products of Jabodetabek Shopee consumers. This research uses a quantitative approach by spreading 150 online and offline questionnaires whether Jabodetabek shopee consumers ever pass unplanned purchases, especially fashion and cosmetic products. Determination of the sample is done by non probability with purposive sampling. The data analysis technique used in this study is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) Analysis using smartpls3. The results of this study that the motivation of hedonic and utilitarian shopping and product browsing have an influence on impulsive buying online with product browsing as a mediating variable."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Pengaruh Consumer Innovativeness terhadap Perceived Value dan Niat Kelanjutan untuk Menggunakan ReCharge Powerbank Rental Sharing di Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jumlah sampel sebanya 103 responden pengguna layanan ReCharge powerbank rental sharing di Jakarta dengan metode non-probability sampling yaitu convenience sampling. Analisis data menggunakan metode simple regression, multiple regression, path analysis dan juga sobel test. Pengukuran variable consumer innovativeness menggunakan indikator dari Goldsmith dan Hofacker (1991), pengukuran perceived value diperoleh dari jurnal Song et al. (2012) dan variabel niat kelanjutan untuk menggunakan menggunakan indikator dari penelitian Hamid, Razak, Bakar, & Abdullah (2016) yang menggunakan variabel dari Technology acceptance model sebagai indikator pengukurannya.Hasil dari penelitian ini menemukan bahwa consumer innovativeness memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap hedonic value; consumer innovativeness memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap utilitarian value; consumer innovativeness memengaruhi niat kelanjutan untuk menggunakan; hedonic value memediasi pengaruh consumer innovativeness terhadap niat kelanjutan untuk menggunakan; utilitarian value memediasi pengaruh consumer innovativeness terhadap niat kelanjutan untuk menggunakan.

This study aims to analyze the effect of consumer innovativeness on perceived value and continuance intention to use "ReCharge" powerbank rental sharing in Jakarta. This research uses a quantitative approach with a total sample of 103 respondents of ReCharge powerbank rental sharing services user in Jakarta with a non-probability sampling method, namely convenience sampling. Data analysis using simple regression method, multiple regression, path analysis and also sobel tests. The measurement of consumer innovativeness variable uses indicators from Goldsmith and Hofacker (1991), measurement of perceived value obtained from Song et al (2012) and continuance intention variable uses indicators from Hamid, Razak, Bakar & Abdullah's research (2016) which use variable from the technology acceptance model as measurement indicators. The results of this study found that consumer innovativeness has a positive influence on hedonic value; consumer innovativeness has a positive influence on utilitarian value; consumer innovativeness influences the continuance intention to use; hedonic value mediate the influence of consumer innovativeness on the continuance intention to use; Utilitarian value mediate the influence of consumer innovativeness on the continuance intention to use.

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor (kualitas lingkungan fisik, kualitas interaksional, kualitas hasil) yang mempengaruhi sikap utilitarian dan hedonis konsumen dalam membangun sebuah preferensi merek restoran di Magnum Cafe. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Structural Equation Model (SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kualitas lingkungan fisik memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kualitas interaksional dan kualitas hasil, begitu pula dengan kualitas interaksional juga memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kualitas hasil. Lalu kualitas lingkungan fisik berpengaruh positif terhadap sikap hedonis tetapi tidak memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap sikap utilitarian. Kualitas interaksional tidak memiliki pengaruh positif baik terhadap sikap utilitarian maupun sikap hedonis, sedangkan untuk kualitas hasil memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap sikap utilitarian tetapi tidak memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap sikap hedonis. Pada sikap utilitarian tidak memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap preferensi merek sedangkan sikap hedonis memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap preferensi merek.

This research is intended to identify the factors (physical environment quality, interactional quality, outcome quality) that influence utilitarian and hedonic attitudes of consumers in building a brand preference at Magnum Cafe. This research used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) as the data analysis technique. The results show that physical environment quality have a positive influence on the interactional quality and outcome quality, as well as interactional quality also have a positive influence on outcome quality. Then physical environment quality have a positive influence on hedonic attitude but do not have a positive influence on utilitarian attitude. Interactional quality does not have a positive influence on utilitarian and hedonic attitude, whereas for the outcome quality have a positive influence on utilitarian attitude but does not have a positive influence on hedonic attitude. In the utilitarian attitude does not have a positive influence on brand preference while hedonic attitude has a positive influence on brand preference."

"Ketatnya persaingan antara mal di Kota Jakarta membuat setiap manajemen mal yang ada di Jakarta berlomba-lomba memuaskan pengunjung mal dengan tujuan dapat bertahan dalam industri untuk jangka waktu yang lama. Atribut mal merupakan sarana untuk memenuhi dan meningkatkan kepuasan pengunjung mal. Tujuan pertama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui atributatribut mal yang membantu meningkatkan kepuasan pengunjung mal saat berbelanja. Motivasi berbelanja terdiri dari dua yaitu motivasi berbelanja hedonik dan utilitarian. Dengan mempertimbangkan motivasi berbelanja pengunjung, tujuan kedua dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui atribut mal apa saja yang hubungannya terhadap kepuasan pengunjung akan lebih kuat pada pengunjung yang memiliki kecenderungan motivasi berbelanja hedonik, dan atribut mal apa saja yang hubungannya terhadap kepuasan pengunjung akan lebih kuat pada pengunjung yang memiliki kecenderungan motivasi berbelanja utilitarian.
Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan SEM-PLS dengan aplikasi WarpPLS 3.0. Kuesioner disebar pada 236 responden. Berdasarkan pertanyaan afirmatif yang diberikan, responden terbagi menjadi dua, yaitu 116 pengunjung dengan kecenderungan motivasi berbelanja hedonik dan 120 pengunjung dengan kecenderungan motivasi berbelanja utilitarian. Hasil dari penelitian adalah atribut mal kenyamanan, kualitas toko di dalam mal, kualitas layanan pelanggan, dan suasana di dalam mal merupakan atribut mal yang berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan pengunjung. Pengaruh atribut mal kenyaman terhadap kepuasan pengunjung akan lebih kuat pada pengunjung yang memiliki kecenderungan motivasi berbelanja hedonik sedangkan pengaruh atribut mal kualitas toko di dalam mal dan kualitas layanan pelanggan terhadap kepuasan pengunjung akan lebih kuat pada pengunjung yang memiliki kecenderungan motivasi berbelanja utilitarian.

Intense competition between malls in Jakarta makes every mall management in Jakarta vying satisfy mall visitors with the aim to survive in the industry for long periods of time. Mall attributes are means to meet and improve visitor satisfaction. The first objective of this study was to determine the attributes of the mall that help improve visitor satisfaction. Shopping motivation are consists of two, they are hedonic shopping motivation and utilitarian shopping motivation. Taking into account the shopping motvation, the second objective of this research was to determine what mall attributes that effect to visitor satisfaction will be stronger on the visitors who have a hedonic shopping motivation tendency and what mall attributes that effect to visitor satisfaction will be stronger on visitors which have a utilitarian shopping motivation tendency.
In this study, the authors use the SEM-PLS with WarpPLS 3.0 applications. The questionnaire was distributed to 236 respondents. Based on the given affirmative question, respondents were divided into two, namely 116 visitors with a hedonic shopping motivation tendency and 120 visitors with utilitarian shopping motivation tendency. Results of the study are mall attributes of comfort, quality of retailer, the quality of customer service, and mall environment have positive effect on visitor satisfaction. The effect of confortable attributeto visitor satisfaction will be stronger for the visitors who have a hedonic shopping motivation tendency while the effect of quality of retailer and quality of customer service to visitor satisfaction will be stronger to the visitors who have a utilitarian shopping motivation tendency.

"Metode self-service menjadi alternatif bagi perusahaan yang mengalami masalah ketidakpuasan customer. Namun, seiring dengan meningkatnya perusahaan yang menerapkan metode self-service, penelitian yang membahas mengenai metode ini masih fokus pada nilai utilitarian atau mementingkan fungsionalitas dan aspek kognitif dalam berbelanja. Padahal, dalam berbelanja customer tidak hanya didasarkan oleh nilai utilitarian, namun juga nilai hedonic yang fokus pada aspek personal dan emosional dalam berbelanja. Penelitian ini melihat bagaimana nilai hedonic dan nilai utilitarian dapat mempengaruhi perasaan delighted yang dirasakan customer ketika berbelanja dengan metode self-service. Customer delight dalam penelitian ini merepresentasikan reaksi berupa kepuasan yang lebih kuat dibandingkan dengan customer satisfaction. Terdapat variabel-variabel lain dalam penelitian ini, yakni Task Uncertainty, Servicescape, Perceived Control, Perceived Time Pressure, Efficiency dan Fun. Dengan subjek penelitian IKEA Indonesia, sampel penelitian ini adalah customer IKEA Indonesia dengan usia minimal 18 tahun, mengunjungi dan berbelanja di IKEA Indonesia dalam 3 bulan terakhir. Peneliti menggunakan analisis Structural Equation Modelling SEM . Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa customer delight yang dirasakan oleh customer dipengaruhi oleh fun yang mereka rasakan ketika berbelanja.

Self service method is considered as one of the alternative for company who is facing unsatisfaction problems since self service allows customer to go shopping with their own phase. However, as number of company who adopted self service method increased, research that adressess this method are still focuses on utilitarian value of self service. That being said, they emphasizes functionality and cognitive aspects of self service shopping experiece. In fact, utilitarian value was not the only motivation that drives customer to go shopping. There rsquo s also hedonic value that is focueses on personal and emotional aspects of shopping. This study looks at how hedonic and utilitarian value can affect the customers delight in self service shopping. In this study, customer delight is a form of positive reaction that is stronger than customer satisfaction. There are other variables in this research, namely Task Uncertainty, Servicescape, Perceived Control, Perceived Time Pressure, Efficiency, and Fun. With IKEA Indonesia as the research subject, this research rsquo s sample is IKEA Indonesia rsquo s customer with minimum age 18 years old who visit and shop at IKEA Indonesia in the last 3 months. Structural Equation Modeling SEM analysis is used in this research. The research shows that customer delight spositively influenced by the fun that customer experienced when they were shopping."

"Traveloka adalah startup online travel agent terbesar di Indonesia. Dalam kasus ini, perusahaan memilih antara mengembangkan hedonic value atau lebih condong ke utilitarian value yang dibawa. Penelitian ini melihat tentang bagaimana pengaruh hedonic value dan utilitarian value secara langsung terhadap customer loyalty ataupun secara tidak langsung melalui customer satisfcation. Penelitian ini juga berfokus pada generasi Z, yaitu generasi yang dari lahir sudah bersentuhan dengan internet dan cenderung memiliki keterbukaan terhadap internet yang tinggi. Penelitian yang dilakukan bersifat kuantitatif serta menggunakan model pengukuran Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) untuk mengolah data. Pengolahan data berdasarkan pada data yang berjumlah atas 330 responden. Responden telah disaring sesuai dengan kriteria yang dibutuhkan, yaitu; berusia 18-26 tahun (Generasi Z), pernah menggunakan aplikasi traveloka untuk memesan penginapan dalam kurun waktu 1 tahun ke belakang, dan berdomisili di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menghasilkan hasil bahwa hedonic value dan utilitarian value tidak berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap customer loyalty, tetapi hedonic value dan utilitarian value berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap customer loyalty secara tidak langsung, yaitu melalui customer satisfaction. Terakhir, customer satisfaction terbukti secara positif dan signifikan memediasi hubungan antara hedonic value dan utilitarian value dengan customer loyalty. Implikasi manajerial dan saran bagi penelitian selanjutnya akan dibahas lebih lanjut pada penelitian ini.

Traveloka is the biggest online travel agent startup in Indonesia. In this case, the company chooses between developing hedonic value or leaning more towards the utilitarian value it brings. This study looks at how the influence of hedonic value and utilitarian value directly on customer loyalty or indirectly through customer satisfaction. This study also focuses on generation Z, which is the generation that has been in contact with the internet since birth and tends to have high openness to the internet. This research is quantitative and uses a Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) measurement model to process the data. Data processing is based on data that totals 330 respondents. Respondents have been screened according to the required criteria, namely, 18-26 years old (Generation Z), have used the Traveloka application to book lodging within the past 1 year, and domiciled in Indonesia. This study resulted in the results that hedonic value and utilitarian value did not have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty, but hedonic value and utilitarian value had a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty indirectly, namely through customer satisfaction. Finally, customer satisfaction is proven to mediate the relationship positively and significantly between hedonic value and utilitarian value with customer loyalty. The managerial implications and suggestions for further research will be discussed further in this study."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh personalized ads terhadap impulsive buying pada konsumen wahha dress. Metode penelitian menggunakan kuantitatif dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukan personalized ads dalam Instagram berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap motivasi utilitarian dan motivasi hedonis, kemudian motivasi utilitarian dan motivasi hedonis memberikan pengaruh yang tidak signifikan terhadap impulsive buying. Selain itu, terlihat personalized ads brand Wahha Dress memiliki pengaruh langsung secara positif dan signifikan terhadap utilitarian motivation dan hedonic motivation konsumen, utilitarian motivation dan hedonic motivation yang timbul dalam benak konsumen tidak secara signifikan mendorong konsumen untuk membeli produk Wahha Dress, dan personalized ads yang dilakukan oleh Wahha Dress tidak berpengaruh secara langsung serta tidak secara signifikan mendorong konsumen untuk membeli secara impulsif. Berdasarkan analisis deskriptif, penelitian merekomendasikan agar pemasar menitik beratkan atau berfokus pada nilai fungsi dari produk, serta pemasar sebaiknya memberikan strategi harga diskon atau menjual produk dengan harga yang termasuk dalam kategori murah.

This study aims to determine the effect of personalized ads towards impulsive buying on Wahha Dress consumers. This study method uses a quantitative approach with purposive sampling technique. The results showed that personalized ads on Instagram had a significant effect on utilitarian motivation and hedonic motivation, then utilitarian motivation and hedonic motivation had an insignificant effect on impulsive buying. In addition, it can be seen that Wahha Dress’s personalized ads have a positive and significant direct influence on consumer utilitarian motivation and hedonic motivation, the utilitarian motivation and hedonic motivation that arise in the minds of consumers do not significantly encourage consumers to buy Wahha Dress products, and the personalized ads are carried out. Wahha Dress has no direct effect nor does it significantly encourage consumers to buy impulsively. Based on descriptive analysis, the research recommends that marketers emphasize on the function value of the product, and marketers should provide a discount pricing strategy or sell products at prices that are included in the cheap category."

"In the current age of globalization, technology and information are one of the most rapidly developing aspects of world life. Technological advances to facilitate customers and companies in many fields, one of which is the banking sector. Some banking transactions that can be done via the internet or online are fund transfers, payment of electricity/water bills and e-commerce, investment and top-up of credit/data packages, etc. Digital banking transactions in Indonesia grew 158% in the last 5 years from January 2018 to April 2023. One of them can be seen in the growth of BNI Mobile Banking users in February 2023 reaching 14.03 million users. This number jumped 25% (YoY) when compared to the same period the previous year of 11.22 million users. E-Service Quality in its interaction with services is the degree to which a service effectively and efficiently facilitates the shopping, purchasing and delivery processes of products and services. The utilitarian dimension in the study includes security/privacy and practicality (which includes usability and ease of use). The hedonistic dimension is more subjective and personalized than the utilitarian dimension and is more related to fun and enjoyment than task completion. This dimension reflects the potential pleasure and emotional value of shopping for and using products. This research uses the PLS-SEM approach. Based on the results of the analysis, this study reveals that there are variables that can optimally improve service quality and customer loyalty for BNI mobile banking in Indonesia.

This number jumped 25% (YoY) when compared to the same period the previous year of 11.22 million users. E-Service Quality in its interaction with services is the degree to which a service effectively and efficiently facilitates the shopping, purchasing and delivery processes of products and services. The utilitarian dimension in the study includes security/privacy and practicality (which includes usability and ease of use). The hedonistic dimension is more subjective and personalized than the utilitarian dimension and is more related to fun and enjoyment than task completion. This dimension reflects the potential pleasure and emotional value of shopping for and using products. This research uses the PLS-SEM approach. Based on the results of the analysis, this study reveals that there are variables that can optimally improve service quality and customer loyalty for BNI mobile banking in Indonesia."
