" Water control and management have been fundamental to the building of human civilisation. In Europe, the regulation of major rivers, the digging of canals and the wetland reclamation schemes from the 16th to 19th centuries, generated new typologies of waterscapes with significant implications for the people who resided within them. This book explores the role of waterways as a form of heritage, culture, and sense of place and the potential of this to underpin the development of cultural tourism. With a multidisciplinary approach across the social sciences and humanities, chapters explore how the control and management of water flows are among some of the most significant human activities to transform the natural environment. Based upon a wealth and breadth of European case studies, the book uncovers the complex relationships that we have with waterways, the ways that they have been represented over recent centuries and the ways in which they continue to be redefined in different cultural contexts. "ABSTRAKPada Peraturan Daerah Nomor 1 Tahun 2014 Tentang Rencana Detail Tata Ruang dan Peraturan Zonasi untuk Prasarana Drainase DKI Jakarta ditetapkan bahwa normalisasi dan drainase untuk mengatasi bencana banjir. Namun, drainase belum sepenuhnya terimplementasikan. Skripsi ini membahas tentang faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi implementasi kebijakan pembangunan prasarana drainase berdasarkan peraturan daerah tersebut. Penelitian menggunakan positivist dengan wawancara mendalam para narasumber dan hasil pengamatan realita/langsung di lapangan. Hasil dari penelitian adalah faktor-faktor implementasi kebijakan pembangunan prasarana drainase berhasil walaupun belum maksimal dan faktor yang mempengaruhi implementasi peraturan daerah tersebut adalah komunikasi, sumber daya, disposisi/sikap dan struktur birokrasi.

ABSTRACT

At the Local Regulations Number 1 of 2014 About the Detail Spatial Plan and Zoning Regulations for Drainage Infrastructure Jakarta established that normalization and drainage for the flood disaster. However, drainage has not been fully implemented. This thesis discusses the implementation of the Regional Regulation No. 1 of 2014 and the factors that affect the implementation of the local regulation. Positivist research uses in-depth interviews with informants and observations reality on the ground. Results of the study is the implementation of the Regional Regulation No. 1 of 2014 successful despite not maximized and the factors that affect the implementation of the local regulation is communication, human resources, disposition or attitude and bureaucratic structures."
