"One important aspect of district public health service is the management and budgeting of drugs. Up to this time no indicates can be used yet as guidelines for evaluating drug management and budgeting effectiveness in a district in Indonesia.
The objective of this study is to determine the effect of training managing drug staff on the evaluation capability increase and their knowledge.
Training has been conducted [mice in 2 provinces, 4 districts ex HP IV each, catering DIMS Kesehatan, GFK, 5 PHCs per district and 300 outpatients. There are 7 groups of indicator which include a total of 29 indicators. Training involved computation of indicators of drug management and budgeting in a district.
Tests were carried out before training and after the first and second training. Data were analyzed using paired t-test for the effect of training on the increase of knowledge and capability of managing drug staff in indicator computation for this evaluation of drug management and budgeting as well as linear regression for (he relation between education and walking experience of the stuff and unpaired t-test for the difference in the increase in knowledge of pharmacy assistant and non pharmacy assistant.
Results from the study on 54 managing drug staff in 8 district shows that knowledge increase significantly after the first and second training, whilst the latter increase is greater than the former one and that the increase in knowledge and non pharmacy assistent exceeds that of-non pharmacy assistant.

"Drug is one of the essential elements in healthcare that should be effectively and efficiently managed. Following the
decentralization in 2001 in Indonesia, drug management has changed in district drug management units and also in
District General Hospitals. Certainly this condition influences the sustainability of drug access in primary health care
such as in Community Health Center and District General Hospital, especially in drug financing policy. A cross
sectional descriptive study to obtain information on drug management in public healthcare in district had been carried
out between July and December 2006 in 10 District Public Drug Management Units from 10 district health offices and 9
district general hospitals as samples. Data were collected by interviewing heads of Drug Section in District Health
Offices and heads of Hospital Pharmacies using structured questionnaires and observing drug storage in District Drug
Management Units, Community Health Centers, and Hospital Pharmacies. Results of the study show that drug planning
in District Health Offices and General Hospitals did not meet the basic real need in some districts nor District Hospitals.
The minimum health service standards had not been achieved yet. Furthermore, drug procurement, storage and
recording as well as reporting was not good enough either, such as shown by the existence of expired drugs. Lead time
for drug delivery to community health centers in some districts was longer than the average of lead time in the past 3 years."

"Rumah sakit sebagai suatu sarana penyelenggaraan kesehatan dituntut untuk memberikan pelayanan yang baik dan bermutu. Pelayanan farmasi merupakan salah satu kegiatan yang tidak dapat dipisahkan dari pelayanan rumah sakit secara keseluruhan. Untuk dapat terselenggaranya pelayanan fannasi dengan baik, maka diperlukan pengelolaan obat dan alat kesehatan habis pakai dengan baik
Pengelolaan obat dan alat kesehatan habis pakai memegang peranan yang sangat penting dalam meningkatkan pelayanan di rumah sakit, baik dilihat dari sudut kepentingan pasien maupun kepentingan rumah sakit. Pengelolaan obat dan alat kesehatan habis pakai perlu dilaksanakan dengan baik supaya ketersediaan obat dan alat kesehatan habis pakai dalam jenis, jumlah dan waktu yang tepat dapat terlaksana dengan baik. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Instalasi Farmasi RSUP Bukittinggi yang mempunyai masalah dibidang logistik farmasi vaitu terjadinya penumpukan dan kadaluwarsa obat dan alat kesehatan habis pakai dalam jumlah yang cukup besar.
Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif analisis dengan metode telaah kasus dan pendekatan pemecahan masalah secara kualitatif, Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam, FGD, observasi langsung dan telaah dokumen yang berhubungan dengan siklus logistik (perencanaan, penyimpanan, pendistribusian dan pengendalian) obat dan alat kesehatan habis pakai. Validasi data dilakukan dengan cara triangulasi sumber dan metode.
Dari penelitian tersebut didapatkan hasil penelitian bahwa yang menyebabkan terjadinya penumpukan dan kadaluwarsa obat dan alat kesehatan habis pakai adalah tidak terdapatnva Formularium, metode dan prosedur perencanaan yang kurang tepat, pengendalian dan pengawasan yang lemah serta tidak adanya sistem informasi manajemen yang terpadu.
Sebagai saran untuk memperbaiki hal tersebut adalah pihak rumah sakit perlu sesegera nungkin menetapkan Formularium untuk dijadikan standar perencanaan dan pemakaian obat dan alat kesehatan habis pakai, metode perencanaan dilengkapi dengan memasukan indika[or-indikator epidemiologi prosedur perencanaan perlu bersifat bottom up dan melihatkan unit-unit yang terkait, perlu peningkatan pengendalian dan pengawasan serta pelaksanakan sistem informasi manajemen yang terpadu.

Analysis on Drug and Consumable Health Equipment Management in Pharmacy Installation of Bukittinggi General Hospital year 2004.Hospital as health service facility is demanded to provide good and high quality service. Pharmacy service is an integral part of hospital activities and services. In order to provide high quality pharmacy service, good management of drug and consumable health equipment is necessary.
Management of drug and consumable health equipment is important not only for the patient, but also for the hospital itself in order to improve the services offered. Good management is important as to maintain the availability of drug and health equipment in term of type, quantity, and appropriate timing. This study was conducted in Pharmacy Installation of Bukittinggi General Hospital which faced problems in pharmacy logistic i.e. the accumulation of and the expiration of drugs and consumable health equipments in large numbers.
This study was descriptive using case study and qualitative approach. Data was collected by in-depth interview, FGD, direct observation, and studying documents related to logistical cycle (planning, storing, distributing, and controlling) of drugs and consumable health equipment. Data was validated through source and method triangulation.
The study reveals that the causes of accumulation and expired drugs and consumable health equipment were unavailability of formula, inappropriate method and procedure, weak controlling and monitoring, and lack of integrated management information system.
To improve the situation, it is suggested to the hospital to set the formula to be used as planning and implementation standard of drug and consumable health equipment, to complement planning method with epidemiologic indicators, to make the planning in bottom up style, to involve related units, to improve controlling and monitoring system, and to conduct integrated management information system.

"Pengelolaan obat di puskesmas perlu dilakukan dengan efektif dan efisien untuk mencegah kerugian karena umunya anggaran untuk pengadaan obat daerah di Indonesia sebesar 40% dari total anggaran biaya kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesesuaian seluruh tahap pengelolaan obat. Desain yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu observasional dengan pendekatan secara deskriptif-evaluatif menggunakan indikator mutu pengelolaan obat yang tersandar. Indikator terdiri atas tahap seleksi, perencanaan, permintaan dan penerimaan, penyimpanan, pendistribusian, pengendalian, pencatatan dan pelaporan, serta pemantauan dan evaluasi. Subyek penelitian ini yaitu Puskesmas X. Data diambil secara retrospective berupa penelusuran dokumen pengelolaan obat tahun 2021 dan concurrent berupa observasi dan wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan dengan membandingkan hasil penilaian indikator terhadap standar literatur terbaru oleh Satibi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dari 26 indikator terdapat 8 indikator yang sesuai dan 18 indikator yang belum sesuai. Indikator pengelolaan obat yang belum memenuhi standar yaitu usulan obat ke formularium (tidak), kesesuaian item dengan fornas (68,52%), kesesuaian item dengan pola penyakit (81,82%), ketepatan item perencanaan (110,96%), ketepatan jumlah perencanaan (320,00%), kesesuaian jumlah permintaan (59,56%), kesesuaian item penerimaan (70,73%), kesesuaian jumlah penerimaan (15,52%), penyimpanan sesuai bentuk sediaan (86,28%), penyimpanan sesuai suhu (93,19%), penyimpanan narkotika (97,61%), penyimpanan sesuai FEFO (91,90%), penyimpanan high alert (63,13%), penyimpanan LASA (11,44%), ITOR (4,26 kali/tahun), item stok aman (77,16%), item stok berlebih (22,84%), obat tidak diresepkan (45,68%), nilai obat kedaluwarsa (2,18%), dan kesesuaian jumlah fisik obat (96,63%).

Drug management in needs to be carried out effectively and efficiently to prevent losses because generally the budget for regional drug procurement in Indonesia is 40% of the total health budget budget. This study aims to analyze the accuracy of all stages of drug management. The design used in this study is observational with a descriptive-evaluative approach using standardized drug management quality indicators. The indicators consist of the stages of selection, planning, request and acceptance, storage, distribution, control, recording and reporting, as well as monitoring and evaluation. The subject of this research is X Health Center. The data were taken retrospectively in the form of searching for drug management documents in 2021 and concurrently in the form of observations and interviews. Data analysis was carried out by comparing the results of the indicator assessment against the latest literature standards by Satibi. The results showed that of the 26 indicators, 8 indicators were appropriate and 18 indicators that were not. Indicators of drug management that do not meet the standards are drug proposals to the formulary (no), suitability of items with Formularium Nasional (68.52%), suitability of items with disease patterns (81.82%), accuracy of planning items (110.96%), accuracy of planning amount (320.00%), suitability of the number of requests (59.56%), suitability of receiving items (70.73%), suitability of the number of receipts (15.52%), storage according to dosage form (86.28%), storage according to temperature (93.19%), storage of narcotics according to regulations ( 97.61%), storage according to FEFO system (91.90%), suitability of high alert storage (63.13%), suitability of LASA storage (11.44%), ITOR (4,26 times/year), safe stock items (77.16%), excess stock items (22.84%), non-prescribed drugs (45.68%), expired drug value (2.18%), and the suitability of the physical amount of the drug (96.63%)."

"Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) di instansi Puskesmas dilaksanakan pada
Puskesmas Kecamatan Pasar Rebo pada bulan Mei tahun 2023. Adapun kegiatan
PKPA di instansi puskesmas bertujuan untuk pembelajaran dan memahami peran
serta tanggung jawab seorang apoteker melingkupi pada ruang lingkup puskesmas.
Pada pelaksanaan PKPA di puskesmas, dilakukan penyusunan laporan tugas khusus
terkait pengkajian pengelolaan obat pada gudang obat puskesmas kecamatan pasar
rebo. Kegiatan tersebut bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengelolaan obat di Gudang
Obat Puskesmas Kecamatan Pasar Rebo dan mengalanisis ketidaksesuaian stok
fisik dengan kartu stok obat di Gudang Obat Puskesmas Kecamatan Pasar Rebo
serta dampak yang dapat ditimbulkan. Evaluasi menggunakan dasar pedoman
Petunjuk Teknis Standar Pelayanan Kefarmasian di Puskesmas dan Cara Distribusi
Obat yang Baik (CDOB). Berdasarkan pengkajian yang telah dilakukan,
pengelolaan obat di Gudang Obat Puskesmas Kecamatan Pasar Rebo telah
dilakukan secara cukup baik namun terkait kegiatan penerimaan, penyimpanan,
pengendalian, administrasi terdapat beberapa hal yang dapat ditingkatkan

Pharmacist Professional Work Practice (PKPA) at the Puskesmas institution was
held at the Puskesmas Kecamatan Pasar Rebo in May 2023. The PKPA activities at
the puskesmas institution aim to learn and understand the roles and responsibilities
of a pharmacist in the scope of the puskesmas. In the implementation of PKPA at the puskesmas, a report was prepared related to the assessment of drug management
in the drug management of the Puskesmas Kecamatan Pasar Rebo. The activity
aims to evaluate drug management in the Puskesmas Kecamatan Pasar Rebo and analyze the discrepancy between physical stock and drug stock cards in the Puskesmas Kecamatan Pasar Rebo and the impact that can be caused. The
evaluation was based on the Technical Guidelines for Pharmaceutical Service
Standards at Puskesmas and the Good Drug Distribution Method (GDP). Based on
the assessment that has been carried out, drug management at the Puskesmas Kecamatan Pasar Rebo has been carried out quite well, but related to several activities included receiving, storing, controlling, and administering activities, there
are several things that can be improved.

Laporan Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker ini memberikan informasi mengenai peran apoteker dalam kegiatan registrasi variasi terkait aspek keamanan suatu produk industri farmasi dan kegiatan pengawasan dan pengelolaan obat, bahan obat, narkotika, psikotropika dan prekursor farmasi di Apotek. Apoteker di industri farmasi terutama departemen regulatory affairs berperan penting dalam pemantauan dan pelaporan aspek keamanan obat yang diedarkan untuk menjamin bahwa produk yang diproduksi bermutu, aman, dan berkhasiat selain di industri farmasi seorang apoteker yang berada di fasilitas pelayanan kefarmasian bertanggung jawab dalam kegiatan pengelolaan sediaan farmasi, alat kesehatan dan bahan medis habis pakai yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan mutu pelayanan kefarmasian serta melindungi pasien dan masyarakat dari penggunaan obat yang tidak rasional. Laporan disusun menggunakan metode pengkajian dan penelusuran studi literatur. Hasil dari kegiatan ini bahwa apoteker di industri farmasi berperan penting khususnya dalam menjamin keamanan, mutu dan khasiat obat sebelum diedarkan ke masyarakat serta sebagai seorang apoteker regulatory affairs harus memastikan dan menyesuaikan dengan timeline perusahaan supaya kegiatan dapat terlaksana tepat waktu; untuk menjamin keamanan dan keselamatan pasien, apotek harus selalu mampu memastikan dan menyesuaikan terhadap peraturan baru yang berlaku supaya kegiatan pengelolaan narkotika, psikotropika dan prekursor farmasi dapat terlaksana dengan baik.

This pharmacist profession practice is carried out at PT Abbott Indonesia and Roxy Jatibaru Pharmacy. This pharmacist professional practice report provides information on the role of pharmacists in the registration of variations related to safety aspects of a pharmaceutical industry product and monitoring and management activities of drugs, drugs substances, narcotics, psychotropics, and pharmaceutical precursors at pharmacies. Pharmacists in the pharmaceutical industry especially the regulatory affairs, play an important role in monitoring and reporting on the safety aspects of drugs being circulated to ensure that the products produced are of quality, safe, and medical consumables aim to improve the quality of pharmaceutical services and protect patients and the public from the irrational use of drugs. The report is prepared using the method of reviewing and tracing literature studies. The result of this activity is that pharmacists in the pharmaceutical industry play an important role, especially in ensuring the safety, quality, and efficacy of drugs before they are distributed to the public, and as a pharmacist in regulatory affairs must ensure and adjust to the company timeline so that activities can be carried out on time; to ensure the safety and security of patients, pharmacies must always be able to ensure and adjust to the new regulations that apply so that the activities of managing narcotics, psychotropics and pharmaceutical precursors can be carried out properly."

"Penggunaan obat rasional, kebijakan penggunaan obat dan program obat essensial disebar luaskan WHO sejak tahun 1985 dengan mengembangkan standar indikator penggunaan obat di fasilitas kesehatan yang menjadi standar global. Ketidak rasionalan peresepan dan penggunaan obat di Puskesmas banyak terjadi dan pada umumnya tidak disadari oleh petugas kesehatan yang ada. Ketidak rasionalan penggunaan obat meningkatkan risiko terjadinya efek samping dan pemborosan biaya anggaran masyarakat (Utarini, 1999).
Kabupaten Lampung Utara yang memiliki 21 unit Puskesmas mempunyai kendala dalam pengelolaan obat di Puskesmas. Masalah yang dihadapi Kabupaten Lampung Utara dalam pengelolaan obat di Puskesmas yaitu masih adanya penggunaan obat yang belum sesuai dengan jenis kasus/pola penyakit (80% Puskesmas) dan ketidak sesuaian laporan penggunaan obat di Puskesmas (33,33% Puskesmas). Hal ini mengakibatkan laporan yang ada kurang dapat dipergunakan oleh pihak manajemen untuk perencanaan kebutuhan secara keseluruhan.
Ketidak sesuaian laporan penggunaan obat menjadikan satu hal yang menarik untuk dilakukan penelitian dengan melihat sistem informasi pengelolaan obat di salah satu Puskesmas yaitu Puskesmas Bukit Kemuning yang merupakan Puskesmas perawatan terlama di Kabupaten Lampung Utara. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan Sistem Development Life Cycle (SDLC) dengan melaksanakan analisis sistem, disain sistem, hingga pengembangan sistem yang terkomputerisasi.
Permasalahan yang ditemukan pada sistem informasi pengelolaan obat di Puskesmas Bukit Kemuning terdapat pada input, proses dan output. Hasil analisis sistem ditemukan pengisian anamnesa pasien sangat rendah (40,0%) dan penegakkan diagnosa medis pasien sebesar 86,7%. Permasalahan terdapat pula pada waktu pencatatan terjadinya transaksi penerimaan dan pengeluaran obat baik dari Gudang Farmasi Kabupaten ke Gudang Obat Puskesmas (GOP) atau dari GOP ke unit pelayanan berupa pencatatan yang tidak lengkap. Sumber daya manusia pengelola obat di Puskesmas juga kurang memadai. Adanya pengisian laporan yang masih salah, data yang belum akurat, penegakan diagnosis yang belum sesuai dengan ICD 10 merupakan masalah yang lain. Didapatkan pula indikator penggunaan obat rasional yang tidak dimanfaatkan sebagai ukuran keberhasilan pelaksanaan program.
Rendahnya pencatatan anamnesis dan penegakkan diagnosa medis memperlihatkan bahwa standard Operating Prosedur (SOP) belum di jalankan dengan baik. Anamnesis dan penegakkan diagnosa medis akan menentukan jenis terapi yang diberikan. Terapi obat yang diberikan belum rasional terlihat dari penulisan resep yang mempunyai item obat per lembar 2-3 jenis obat masih rendah (36,7%).
Permasalahan yang timbul dari sistem informasi pengelolaan obat ini dapat diatasi salah satunya dengan menggunakan suatu software yang telah dimodifikasi sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Software ini membantu untuk mendapatkan data yang baik, tidak redudansi, efektif dan efisien.
Kepala Puskesmas Bukit Kemuning agar dapat memberikan kontrol terhadap pelaksanaan SOP pengobatan. Output yang dihasilkan program aplikasi diharapkan dapat dipergunakan sebagai bahan dasar perencanaan kegiatan tingkat Puskesmas dan Kabupaten. Program aplikasi ini dapat dikembangkan untuk mendapatkan data yang lebih rinci dan dipergunakan/disebarluaskan ke Puskesmas yang lainnya.

Information System Development of Drug Management in Bukit Kemuning Health Center at Sub-district of Bukit Kemuning, District of North Lampung in 2004Since 1985 WHO has been announced the usage of rational drug, drug usage policy, an essential drug by developing the indicator standard of drug usage in the health facility that becomes global standard. Irrational prescription and drug usage in health center often occurred and generally the health staff is not aware about it. Irrational drug usage will increase the risk of side effect occurrence and cost inefficiency in the community (Utarini, 1999).
The District of North Lampung, having 21 health centers, had some problems in managing drug in health centers. They were inappropriateness drug usage with type or disease pattern (80%) and inaccurateness on reporting drug usage (33.33%). Consequently, the management could not use the existing report to make a planning.
Inaccurate drug usage reporting become interesting to be studied through assessing information system of drug management in Bukit Kemuning Health Center, the oldest health center in the District of North Lampung. This study method used System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) approach by conducting system analysis, system design, and computerized development system.
The problems found on drug management information system in Bukit Kemuning Health Center were available in components of input, process, and output. The result of system analysis patient's anamnesis was low (40%) and most of the straightening of medical diagnosis of patient had been conducted (86.7%). Another problem found was recording incompleteness when 7ansaction of drug input and output occurred both from District Pharmacy Store to Health Center Drug Store and from Health Center Drug Store to Service Unit. Human resources that managed the drug in Health Center were insufficient, incorrectness on filling the report and inaccurate data, and inappropriateness between medical diagnosis determination and ICD X were still found. Also the existing rational drug usage indicator was not used yet as key success indicator of the program.
The lack of anamnesis recording and medical diagnosis enforcement showed that standard operating procedure (SOP) had not been conducted well because anamnesis and medical diagnosis enforcement would determine the therapy given. The existed drug therapy was not rational yet. It could be seen from in each prescription that consisted of 2-3 drug items was still low (36.7%).
To overcome the problem that mentioned above was to apply modified software according to the user's need. The software would help to keep data well, irredundant, effective, and efficient.
The Head of Bukit Kemuning Health Center should control the medication SOP. Outputs that resulted from application program can be used as input for program planning in the level of Health Center and district. The application program can be developed to obtain detail data and be used or informed to other Health Centers.

Implementasi Sistem Informasi Pengelolaan Obat SIPO di puskesmas dan Dinas Kesehatan Kota Depok digunakan untuk mengelola data obat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis variabel dan indikator yang mempengaruhi Imkesuksesan Sistem Informasi Pengelolaan Obat SIPO . Penelitian ini nengadopsi Model Kesuksesan Sistem Informasi DeLone dan McLean, satu set pedoman wawancara tersruktur ditanyakan kepada 13 informan yang memenuhi syarat sebagai pengguna apoteker dan manajer . Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa kualitas sistem, kualitas informasi dan kualitas layanan Sistem Informasi Pengelolaan Obat SIPO telah sukses. Kepuasan pengguna juga telah sukses membuat pengguna bersedia menggunakan sistem informasi. Dampak individu dan organisasi juga telah sukses diberikan oleh sistem informasi untuk menyederhanakan pekerjaan pengguna. Berdasarkan analisis tersebut, keberhasilan sistem informasi manajemen obat tidak dapat dilakukan tanpa dukungan manajemen. Man, Material, Method dan Money sudah cukup tersedia untuk penerapan Sistem Informasi Pengelolaan Obat SIPO.

ABSTRACT
Implementation of drug management information system in primary care and departement of heath at Depok are used to manage drug data. The purpose of this research is to analyze the variables and indicators that influence the suscces of drug management information system. Adopting DeLone and McLean Information System Success Model, a set of structural interview guidelines was asked to 13 informant who qualified as users pharmacist and the manager . The result has showed that quality of the system, information quality and service quality of drug management information system have been success. User satisfaction also has been success to made users willing to use the information system. Individual and organizational impact also has been success provided by the information system to simplify the user 39 s work. Based on the analysis, the success of drug management information system can not be done without management support. Man, Material, Method and Money has enough available to implementing of drug management information system."

Proses pengelolaanobat yang paling mengganggu dalam siklus pengelolaan obat di Instalasi FarmasiRSU Sari Mutiara Medan adalah proses pengadaan/pembelian obat. Obat Tingkatpemakaian dan pembelian obat kronis yang tinggi mewakili tingkat pemakaiandan pembelian obat secara keseluruhan. Peningkatan efisiensi pada prosespengadaan/pembelian obat kronis dapat memberikan gambaran peningkatanefisiensi pengelolaan obat secara keseluruhan. Penelitian dengan metode kualitatifini mengobservasi waktu yang digunakan selama proses pembelian obat darimulai pemesanan hingga obat diap didistribusikan, dan bertujuan untukmeningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan obat di Instalasi Farmasi RSU Sari MutiaraMedan dengan menggunakan metode lean.
Hasil penelitian dapat merumuskankegiatan pembelian obat yang beragam menjadi satu alur proses pembelian obat,dalam desain usulan perbaikan tampak pengurangan waktu tunggu, peningkatanpresentasi kegiatan value added dan reduksi presentasi kegiatan non value added.Dengan meningkatnya efisiensi proses pembelian/pengadaan obat diharapkanadanya domino effect pada proses pengelolaan obat lainnya. Dalam penelitian inidicapai kendali biaya dan kendali mutu melalui usulan perbaikan jangka pendekperencanaan kebutuhan obat dengan menggunakan analisis pareto dan VEN, sertametode error proofing dalam evaluasi akhir setiap proses pembelian obat.Penerapan kaizen merupakan usulan jangka panjang yang akan selalu diterapkandalam setiap analisis proses menggunakan metode lean.

High cost of drugs need a proper management. Procurement purchase of thedrugs is the most disturbing management process in the drug cycle managementin the pharmacy unit of Sari Mutiara Medan Public Hospital. The highconsumption and purchase level of chronic drugs represent the high consumptionand purchase the whole drugs. Efficiency increasing of chronic drugsprocurement purchase is expected to represent the efficiency increasing of drugmanagement in generally. This qualitative research, using the lean method,observed the time spent from when the drug was ordered until the drug was readyto distribute, with the aim to increase the efficiency of drug management in thepharmacy unit of Sari Mutiara Medan Public Hospital.
The results formulatevariation of purchasing flow to be one standard future state mapping, and itshows improvement in waiting time, increasing value added activity and reductionnon value added activity. Efficiency increasing of drugs procurement purchase isexpected to have a domino effect for the continuous drug management process.Cost and quality control in this research are obtained through the proposedshort term fixes using pareto and VEN in drugs demand planning and usingerror proofing method in every end evaluation of drugs procurement purchase.Kaizen is applied for the proposed long term fixes and for every flow analysisusing lean method.

Internship at General Directorate of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices of Republic Indonesia Period April 2018 aims to understand the duties and responsibilities of pharmacists in pharmacy management, have the insight, knowledge, skills and practical experience to undertake pharmaceutical practices in Ministry of Health, can also have the insight of pharmaceutical practice issues and learn strategies and activities that can betaken during pharmaceutical practice development. This internship was conducted for two weeks with special assignment ldquo;Study of Drug Logistics Management Information Systems and BMHP in Indonesia Based on USAID 39;s Health Commodity Logistic Management Information System rdquo;. The purpose of this special assignment is to review the drug logistics information system and BMHP in Indonesia based on USAID and assess its effectiveness and efficiency."
