"This book bridges the gap between systems science and population health science and brings together contributions from leading authorities in the field to describe how complex systems science contributes to population health and to demonstrate how methodological approaches in systems science can sharpen population health science. The book includes both theoretical and empiric illustrations from the emerging literature at the nexus between complex systems and population health. The first section, simplicity, complexity, and population health walks the reader through the intellectual and conceptual history of systems science as it intersects with population health. The second section, methods in systems population health, provides the reader with clear, concise overviews of several important and emerging systems science methodological tools, including systems dynamics, agent-based modeling, microsimulation, social network analysis, and machine-learning with relevant examples drawn from the population health literature. The third section, systems science toward a consequential population health, synthesizes the previous two sections to explore the implications of systems science for our understanding of broad issue areas in population health."

"Jumlah jamaah umrah setiap tahun meningkat. Berdasarkan data Pusat KesehatanHaji, jamaah umrah sakit yang terlaporkan sampai bulan Mei tahun 2015sebanyak 11 orang dan kematian 1 orang. Sebelum berangkat ke Arab Saudijamaah diwajibkan untuk melakukan vaksinasi Meningitis Meningokokus.Pelayanan vaksinasi ini dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai pencatatan data kesehatanjamaah umrah. Sistem informasi yang ada saat ini belum dapat digunakan sesuaikebutuhan pelayanan vaksinasi umrah, pencatatan dan pelaporan masih manual.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem informasi pelayanan vaksinumrah yang mampu mendukung pelayanan dan pengelolaan vaksin sertamemberikan informasi kesehatan jamaah umrah sebelum diberangkatkan ke ArabSaudi. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan SDLC dengan mengidentifikasi sistemyang berjalan dan kebutuhan pengembangan sistem. Pengumpulan datamenggunakan metode wawancara, observasi dan telaah dokumen di KantorKesehatan Pelabuhan Banten. Masalah pada sistem informasi yang teridentifikasipada komponen input, proses, output dan basis data. Dengan dikembangkannyaaplikasi sistem informasi ini data tersimpan kedalam database sehingga lebihaman dan dapat memudahkan dalam pengolahan data. Aplikasi menghasilkaninformasi kesehatan jamaah umrah dan laporan pelaksanaan pelayanan vaksinumrah. Rekomendasi dimasa yang akan datang Pusat Kesehatan Haji perlumembuat peraturan penyelenggaraan kesehatan umrah dan aplikasi yangdikembangkan disosialisasikan melalui pertemuan maupun video yang diunggahkedalam website aplikasi.

The number of Umrah pilgrims every year is increasing. Base on data from theCenter for Health Hajj, The Umrah pilgrims reported sick until May 2015 was 11people and the death was 1 person. Before leaving to Saudi Arabia, all pilgrimsare required to Meningococcal Meningitis vaccination. This vaccination servicescan be use for information of health Umrah pilgrims. Existing informationsystems can not be used as needed, recording and reporting are still manually.This research aims to develop a vaccine Umrah service information system whocan supporting of services and management of vaccines at KKP and can providesinformation of health Umrah pilgrims before departure to Saudi Arabia.Researcher using SDLC approach to identify on an existing system anddevelopment needs. Collecting data using interviews, observation and review ofdocuments at KKP Banten. The problems is identified on input, process, outputand databases. This development of information system can stored data intodatabase so it more secure and easy to processing data. It can provide informationof umrah health and reports vaccination services. Recommendation in the futureCenter of Health Hajj have to provide regulation of enforcement umrah rsquo s healthand socialize this application through meetings or video uploaded on website."
