"ABSTRAKArtikel ini membahas penggambaran dominasi tokoh Ibu dan gugatan yang terdapat dalam film J`ai Tué Ma Mère karya Xavier Dolan melalui aspek naratif dan sinematografis film. Analisis yang dibuat didukung dengan konsep kekuasaan Michel Foucault untuk melihat bentuk dominasi sosok ibu yang terjadi dalam film. Kekuasaan merupakan landasan dari terbentuknya dominasi yang menimbulkan adanya represi terhadap orang lain, termasuk di dalam lingkup keluarga. Hasil analisis melalui aspek naratif dan sinematografis film menunjukkan bahwa dominasi terbentuk akibat adanya kegagalan komunikasi yang terjalin antartokoh dan menyebabkan terbentuknya resistensi yang dilakukan oleh tokoh yang terdominasi, dalam hal ini tokoh anak laki-laki. Kekuasaan dan dominasi sosok ibu yang sangat besar dalam kehidupan tokoh anak laki-laki tersebut menyebabkan masalah dan konflik yang terjadi diantara keduanya, sehingga hal tersebut menimbulkan jarak dalam hubungan antara ibu dan anak. Resistensi yang dilakukan oleh tokoh yang terdominasi bertujuan untuk menggugat kekuasaan atas dominasi yang diterimanya. Dominasi yang ada juga diperkuat oleh faktor budaya matriarkal di dalam budaya masyarakat Qu ? bec yang merupakan latar dalam film J`ai Tué Ma Mère

ABSTRACTThis article discusses the depiction of Mother domination and the lawsuit contained in J`ai Tué Ma Mère by Xavier Dolan through the narrative and cinematographic aspects of the film. The analysis made is supported by the concept of power by Michel Foucault to see the form of dominance of the mother figure that occurs in the film. Power is the cornerstone of the formation of dominance that gives rise to repression against others, including within the family. The results of the analysis through the narrative and cinematographic aspects of the film show that the dominance is formed due to communication failure that exists between forces and causes the formation of resistance by dominated figures, in this case is figure of a son. The very great power and dominance of mother figure in the life of the son causes problems and conflicts between them, thus causing distance in the relationship between mother and child. Resistance by dominated figure aims to sue power over domination that he recieves . The dominance is also reinforced by matriarchal cultural factors within the culture of the Qu ? bec community which is the setting in the film J`ai Tué Ma Mère"

"Mitos Ibu adalah prinsip-prinsip dasar motherhood dan bagaimana seharusnya perempuan secara insting merupakan ibu yang baik. Mitos tersebut masih hidup di masyarakat Jerman, bahkan terdapat istilah Rabenmutter untuk merendahkan ibu yang buruk. Skripsi ini menganalisis bagaimana mitos ibu direpresentasikan pada drama Ohne Moos nix los karya Jörg Isermeyer melalui dua tokoh ibu; Frau Wolff dan Frau Erdmann. Keadaan situasi seperti status sosial dari kedua tokoh tersebut akan dianalisis untuk dilihat pengaruhnya ke cara mereka mendidik anak. Skripsi ini juga menganalisis perilaku dan situasi anak-anak mereka untuk dilihat bagaimana pengaruh ibunya kepada mereka.

Motherhood mystique basically is the principles of motherhood and how a woman should instinctively be a good mother. This myth is still lives in the life of the German people today, there is even a term called Rabenmutter for a bad mother. This thesis analysed how mother mystique is showed in a Grips drama with title Ohne Moos nix los by Jörg Isermeyer through 2 characters; as mothers, Frau Wolff and Frau Erdmann. Their situation such as the social status of both characters were analysed to see how it influenced the way they educated their children. This thesis will also analyse their children behaviour and situation to see how the way their mother's upbringing effected them."

"Rou Shi adalah seorang penulis terkemuka, penerjemah, dan tokoh revolusioner. Pada tahun 1930, Rou Shi menulis cerpen “Ibu yang Menjadi Budak (Wèi Núlì De Mǔqīn)”. Cerpen ini menceritakan tentang seorang tokoh Ibu yang disewakan oleh suaminya sendiri sebagai jalan keluar dalam menghadapi kemiskinan keluarganya. Tokoh Ibu disewakan kepada keluarga cendekiawan yang tidak memiliki keturunan, karena istri cendekiawan tidak mengizinkan cendekiawan untuk menikah lagi, maka mereka memutuskan untuk menyewa seorang perempuan untuk mengatasi ketiadaan keturunan dalam keluarganya. Lahirnya anak dalam keluarga menjadi representasi bisa berlanjutnya garis keturunan keluarga cendekiawan tersebut. Dari hasil analisis, bisa terungkap bahwa tokoh Ibu menjadi budak dan tidak bisa mendapat hak-haknya sebagai perempuan karena ia hidup dalam keluarga yang masih terikat tradisi lama dan karena status sosialnya yang rendah. Tokoh Ibu tidak hanya menjadi budak bagi sang suami, tetapi juga menjadi budak bagi perempuan lain dan keluarganya akibat sistem yang umum berlaku pada masyarakat Cina pada masa itu.

Rou Shi was a prominent writer, translator, and revolutionary figure. In 1930, Rou Shi wrote the short story “A Slave Mother (Wèi Núlì De Mǔqīn)”. This short story tells the story of a mother who is rented by her husband as a way out in facing her family's poverty. The character Mother is rented to a scholar's family who has no children, because the scholar's wife does not allow the scholar to remarry, so they decide to hire a woman to overcome the absence of children in his family. The birth of a child in the family is a representation of the continuation of the lineage of the scholar's family. From the results of the analysis, it can be revealed that Mother becomes a slave and cannot get her rights as a woman because she lives in a family that is still bound by old traditions and because of her low social status. Mother not only became a slave to her husband, but also became a slave to other women and their families due to the system that was common in Chinese society at that time."
