Apoteker memiliki peran yang penting di beberapa instansi, seperti di Industri Farmasi dan Apotek. Seorang apoteker harus memenuhi standar kompetensi sebagai persyaratan untuk memasuki dunia kerja dan menjalai praktik profesi. Standar kompetensi apoteker Indonesia terdiri dari 10 standar kompetensi sebagai kemampuan yang diharapkan oleh apoteker saat lulus dan masuk ke tempat praktik kerja profesi. Sebagai bekal dan pengalaman calon apoteker untuk dapat memahami peran apoteker dan meningkatkan kompetensi, maka dilaksanakan Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) di Apotek Kimia Farma No. 49 Pondok Bambu dan PT. CKD OTTO Pharmaceuticals selama periode bulan Februari – Agustus 2020. Selama PKPA diharapkan calon apoteker dapat memperluas wawasan, pemahaman, dan pengalaman untuk melakukan pekerjaan kefarmasian di tempat praktik kerja profesi.
Pharmacists have an important role in several institutions, such as in the Pharmaceutical Industry and Pharmacy. A pharmacist must meet competency standards as a requirement to enter the world of work and pursue professional practice. Indonesian pharmacist competency standards consist of 10 competency standards as the abilities expected by pharmacists when they graduate and enter professional work practices. As a provision and experience of prospective pharmacists to be able to understand the role of pharmacists and improve competence, the internship was carried out at Apotek Kimia Farma No. 49 Pondok Bambu and PT. CKD OTTO Pharmaceuticals during the period of February - August 2020. During internship, it is hoped that prospective pharmacist will gain insight, understanding, and experience to do pharmaceutical work in professional work practices."
