"Praktek Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) merupakan media yang sangat penting bagi mahasiswa profesi apoteker untuk menerapkan ilmu serta mengembangkan keahliannya dalam pekerjaan kefarmasian. Mahasiswa profesi apoteker dapat melaksanakan PKPA di Industri Farmasi, Pemerintahan (BPOM), Apotek, dan Distributor Farmasi. Salah satu peran apoteker sebagai Business Development di industri farmasi yaitu memberikan ide produk baru dan menyiapkan product knowledge produk. Peran apoteker di pemerintahan yaitu sebagai pengawas peredaran obat dan makanan di masyarakat, salah satu nya peredaran pada e-commerce. Di apotek, peran apoteker yaitu memberikan pelayanan kefarmasian dan melakukan pemberian informasi kesehatan kepada pasien, baik melalui media offline maupun online. Peran apoteker di distributor yaitu melakukan proses pengadaan, penyimpanan, hingga penyaluran obat. Kegiatan PKPA yang dilakukan bermanfaat sebagai bekal apoteker sebelum berkontribusi di dunia kerja kefarmasian.
