ABSTRAKNama : Astrid Permatasari IsnanProgram Studi : FarmasiJudul : Praktek Kerja Profesi di Direktorat Jenderal Kefarmasian dan Alat Kesehatan Periode Mei Tahun 2017 Kesehatan adalah keadaan sehat yang memungkinkan setiap orang untuk hidup produktif secara sosial dan ekonomis dan karenanya merupakan hak asasi manusia dan salah satu unsur kesejahteraan yang harus diwujudkan. Obat merupakan salah satu komponen yang tidak dapat tergantikan dalam mewujudkan kesehatan masyarakat. Namun, selain obat, salah satu sarana dalam mengupayakan kesehatan masyarakat adalah penggunaan alat kesehatan dan Perbekalan Kesehatan Rumah Tangga PKRT . Oleh karena maraknya penggunaan alat kesehatan dan PKRT di tengah masyarakat, dibutuhkan suatu regulasi agar masyarakat terlindung dari alat kesehatan dan PKRT yang tidak memenuhi persyaratan mutu. Perumusan regulasi terkait alat kesehatan dan PKRT dilakukan oleh Direktorat Jenderal Kefarmasian dan Alat Kesehatan. Direktorat Jenderal Kefarmasian dan Alat Kesehatan bertugas dalam menyelenggarakan perumusan dan pelaksanaan kebijakan di bidang kefarmasian dan alat kesehatan sesuai dengan ketentuan peraturan perundang-undangan. Dalam rangka mempersiapkan apoteker yang paham akan tanggung jawab apoteker di bidang alat kesehatan dan PKRT khususnya dalam perumusan dan pelaksanaan kebijakan di bidang alat kesehatan dan PKRT, diperlukan praktek kerja profesi di Direktorat Jenderal Kefarmasian dan Alat Kesehatan pada 22 Mei ndash; 2 Juni 2017. Melalui PKPA di Pemerintahan, diharapkan calon apoteker dapat memiliki wawasan, pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan pengalaman praktis untuk melakukan praktek kefarmasian di Pemerintahan. Drugs are component that cannot be replaced in actualizing public health. However, besides drugs, one of efforts in actualizing public health is the use of medical devices and household health supplies. Due to the widespread use of medical devices and household health supplies in the community, a regulation is needed to protect the public from medical devices and household health supplies that do not meet the quality requirements. The formulation of regulation related to medical devices and household health supplies is done by Direktorat Jenderal Kefarmasian dan Alat Kesehatan. Direktorat Jenderal Kefarmasian dan Alat Kesehatan has role in organizing the formulation and implementation of policies in the field of pharmaceutical and medical devices in accordance with legislation. In order to prepare pharmacists that understand the responsibilities of pharmacists in the field of medical devices and household health supplies especially in the formulation and implementation of policies in the field of medical devices and household health supplies, professional work practice is required at Direktorat Jenderal Kefarmasian dan Alat Kesehatan on May 22th to June 2nd, 2017.
