"ABSTRAK
Penelitian mengenai strategi percakapan dalam jual beli tradisional dalam dialek Banyumas
ini merupakan penelitian pragmatik yang berfokus pada analisis percakapan. Penelitian ini
bertujuan untuk merekonstruksi strategi percakapan jual beli tradisional dalam dialek
Banyumas dan menemukan faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh dalam keputusan pembelian
konsumen. Tuturan yang diujarkan oleh penutur merepresentasikan apa yang ada dalam
benak mereka. Strategi percakapan dalam penelitian ini meliputi, kondisi kesahihan tuturan,
strategi bertutur dan strategi kesantunan. Keputusan konsumen dipengaruhi oleh faktor
eksternal dan faktor internal yang direalisasikan melalui tuturan dalam percakapan jual beli.
Data penelitian diperoleh dari percakapan jual beli di pasar tradisional. Penyajian data
dilakukan dengan menggunakan mikro dan makro struktur. Analisis data dilakukan dengan
metode padan pragmatis. Satuan analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah tuturan. Kondisi
kesahihan tuturan dapat dilihat dari konteks tuturan. Pada realisasinya, konteks tuturan dapat
dilihat sebagai faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap pembelian. Faktor eksternal atau
bauran pemasaran adalah faktor-faktor di luar individu yang berpengaruh terhadap keputusan
pembelian. Faktor internal atau black box model yang terjadi dalam benak individu
merupakan faktor dalam diri individu yang berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian.
Faktor eksternal dan faktor internal itu direalisasikan ke dalam tuturan individu dalam
percakapan jual beli tradisional. Bahasa dalam percakapan jual beli tradional memiliki tiga
fungsi, yaitu fungsi referensial, fungsi afektif, dan fungsi fatis. Penelitian lebih lanjut dapat
dilakukan untuk membuktikan fungsi bahasa dalam percakapan jual beli tradisional dalam
bahasa Jawa dialek Banyumas

ABSTRACT
The research on conversation strategies in traditional selling and buying in Banyumas dialect
is a pragmatic research focuses on conversation analysis. It aims to reconstruct the
conversation strategies in traditional selling and buying in Banyumas dialect and to find out
the factors affecting consumers? behavior. Utterances used in traditional selling and buying
conversation relfect speakers? mind. The conversation strategies include the felicity
condition, the speech strategies, and the politeness strategies. Consumers? behavior is
affected by external and internal factors. Data is gathered from traditional selling and buying
conversations in traditional markets. This qualitative research uses micro and macro structure
to display data and uses pragmatic identity method in analysis. The unit of analysis of this
research is speech or utterance. Felicity condition of each utterance can be seen from the
context. Context is considered as factors affecting consumers? behavior. External factors or
marketing mix are factors outside the consumers which affects the consumers? decision
whether or not to buy the goods. On the other hand, internal factors or the black box model
are factors inside the consumers affecting their decision. It is called as a black box model
since it occurs in buyers? mind. Those external and internal factors are realized in the
utterances used in traditional selling and buying conversation. The language functions in
traditional selling and buying are classified into three types; referential, affective, and phatic.
A further and deeper research needs to conduct to prove the language functions in traditional
selling and buying conversation in Banyumas dialect"

"The aim of this study is to reveal and explain the paradigmatic sense relations of identity, inclusion, and oppositeness in the Arabic language. In this study I will attempt to see this paradigmatic sense relations of the Arabic language from the tradition of Arabic semantics and Western tradition point of view as well in order to see to what extent the tradition of the Arabic semantics could be related to the non-Arabic semantics (Western semantics).
In this study I will follow the theories and views presented by the Arabic experts in semantics who have already studied about the paradigmatic sense relations namely Anis (1965), Ya?cob (1982), Umar (1982), Al-dayah (1986), and Abu Syarif (1982). Besides, I will also follow theories that are related to the discussion from the non-Arabic experts in semantics namely Lehrer (1974), Leech (1977), Palmer (1983), Lyons (1996), and Cruse (2004).
We use the fusha Arabic language used in the Holy Qur'an as resources of data. The research method used to analyze resources of data is analysis of meaning relation used by either Arabic or non-Arabic experts in semantics.
The study about meaning relation of identity or synonymy (Al-tara: duf) shows that the relation in the Arabic language has not been classified in detail since in the tradition of the Arabic semantics, synonymy is only seen from the motivation point of view. Meanwhile, classification from the level of similarity is not done (for example absolute synonymy, prepositional synonymy, and near synonymy) such as classified by Cruse (2004). However, in the tradition of Arabic semantics, there is a term called Al-?itnab, the meaning strengthening by giving a long statement, as a part of the study of Al-bala:gah This is actually a part of Arabic synonymy.
During this time, in the tradition of the Arabic semantics, the study about paradigmatic relations of inclusion and the study of synonymy in the Arabic language overlaps one another. Meanwhile, hyponymy and meronymy as a subclassification of inclusion relation are not found in the Arabic semantics. Paradigmatic relations of inclusion in the Arabic semantics appears in the form Al-?it-nab, either as a form of hyponymy or meronymy.
The study about paradigmatic relations of opposition (Al tada:d) in the Arabic language such as synonymy is only seen from the motivation point of view. By following the Western theories, relations of opposition in the Arabic language can appears in the form of complementary opposites, antonymy opposites, and directional opposites. To analyze relations of opposite, the tradition of Arabic semantics refers to what is called al-di:d or contranymy. Beside Al-di:d, contranymy in the Arabic language appears in the form of Al-tagli:b, contranymy that has dualis grammar. Besides, the tradition of Arabic semantics has the use of opposite relation in a verse of the Holy Qur'an, namely Al-tiba:q and Al-muqa:balah Al- tiba:q is a contrast pair that appears at the same time in a verse of the Holy Qur'an. Meanwhile, Al-muga:balah is a contrast that appears in the beginning of a sentence and another contrast appears as a balance of the contrast of the first sentence."

"Disertasi ini membahas semantik spasial preposisi ala dan nomina spasial fawqa dengan memanfaatkan ancangan linguistik kognitif, khususnya semantik kognitif. Dengan sumber data dari corpus.kacst.edu.sa dan model polisemi berprinsip dari Tyler dan Evans (2003), serta konfigurasi dari Ferrando dan Gosser (2011), kajian ini menemukan makna primer ala dan fawqa yaitu yang menyatakan makna lebih tinggi dari atau posisi di atas. Perbedaan kedua leksem itu terletak pada ada atau tidaknya kontak pada salah satu sisi permukaan entitas yang berelasi. Untuk makna perluasan ala, secara dominan menunjukkan relasi kuasa dan relasi tumpuan, sedangkan makna perluasan fawqa menunjukkan makna melebihi atau melampaui. Data dari korpus juga memperlihatkan kecenderungan jumlah makna perluasan ala lebih banyak dibanding makna perluasan fawqa. Selain itu, makna perluasan ala lebih banyak menunjukkan hubungan yang erat antara verba atau nomina derivatifnya dengan ala, sedangkan makna perluasan fawqa tidak menunjukkan hal yang sama. Temuan tentang makna primer dan makna perluasan masing-masing ala dan fawqa disajikan dalam bentuk jejaring semantis. Jejaring semantis itu menggambarkan relasi polisemis antara makna-makna perluasan dengan makna primernya. Sebagai dua leksem yang bersinonim, fawqa dapat menggantikan ala pada situasi tertentu, dan begitu pula sebaliknya.

This dissertation discusses the spatial semantics of preposition ala and spatial noun fawqa by utilizing cognitive linguistic approaches, specifically cognitive semantics. With data sources from corpus.kacst.edu.sa and principled polysemy models from Tyler and Evans (2003), as well as configurations from Ferrando and Gosser (2011), this study found the primary sense of ala and fawqa, which states higher meaning or position above. The difference between the two lexemes lies in the presence or absence of contact on one side of the surface of the related entity. For the extended senses of ala, dominantly show the power relation and pedestal relation, while the extended senses of fawqa indicate the exceeding or beyond. Data from the corpus also show the tendency of the number of the extended senses ala more than the extended senses of fawqa. furthermore, the extended senses of ala show the close relationship between the verb or its derivative nouns with ala, while the extended senses of fawqa does not indicate the same thing. The findings of the primary sense and the extended senses of each ala and fawqa are presented in the frame of semantic network, which illustrates the polysemic relation between extended senses and their primary sense. As two synonymous lexemes, fawqa can replace ala in certain situations, and vice versa.
