"Pengawasan mutu bahan awal di PT. Kalbio Global Medika (KGM) sebagai industri farmasi berfungsi untuk mendapatkan kepastian produk yang dihasilkan dapat memenuhi persyaratan agar dapat diloloskan sebagai bahan awal untuk proses selanjutnya. Sebagai pemenuhan tugas akhir PKPA di industri, dilakukan beberapa parameter analisis kimia pada tiga sampel natrium klorida dengan nomor GRN atau batch yang berbeda di departemen Quality Control Raw Material and Packaging Material PT. KGM. Analisis dilakukan secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif sesuai dengan standar European Pharmacopoeia yang meliputi identifikasi, kelarutan, kemurnian, pH, kandungan senyawa tertentu seperti nitrit, sulfat hingga logam berat. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa GRN B/21/10/0006 lolos uji terhadap seluruh spesifikasi natrium klorida. Sedangkan GRN B/21/10/0005 dan B/21/10/0007 tidak memenuhi spesifikasi pada pengujian batas nitrit dan uji kemurnian yang ditetapkan. Hal ini dapat dimungkinkan karena sampel yang digunakan merupakan sisa sampel hasil pengujian sebelumnya. Oleh karena itu penyimpanan sampel natrium klorida dapat disimpan pada wadah tertutup rapat untuk menjaga stabilitasnya.

Quality control of raw materials at PT. Kalbio Global Medika (KGM) as a pharmaceutical industry functions to ensure that the products produced meet the requirements so that they can be passed as starting materials for further processes. As a PKPA's final assignment im industry, several chemical analysis parameters were carried out on three sodium chloride samples with different GRN or batch numbers in the Quality Control Raw Material and Packaging Material department of PT. KGM. Analysis was carried out qualitatively and quantitatively in accordance with European Pharmacopoeia standards which included identification, solubility, purity, pH, content of certain compounds such as nitrites, sulfates to heavy metals. The results obtained show that GRN B/21/10/0006 passed the test against all sodium chloride specifications. Whereas GRN B/21/10/0005 and B/21/10/0007 did not meet the specifications for the nitrite limit test and the stipulated purity test. This is possible because the sample used is the remaining sample from the previous test. Therefore, sodium chloride samples can be stored in tightly closed containers to maintain stability."

Salah satu hal penting yang harus dilakukan untuk menjadi seorang apoteker yang profesional dan kompeten adalah berpartisipasi secara langsung dalam praktik kefarmasian. Oleh karena itu, calon apoteker dituntut untuk menjalani praktik profesi sebagai bekal dan pengalaman untuk memahami peran apoteker dan meningkatkan kompetensi sebelum memasuki dunia kerja. Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker dilaksanakan di PT. Kalbio Global Medika periode Januari – Februari 2022 dan Apotek Kimia Farma Jatirahayu periode Mei 2022. Melalui proses PKPA di industri farmasi dan apotek tersebut, calon apoteker diharapkan mampu memperoleh wawasan, keterampilan, pengetahuan, dan pengalaman yang sesuai untuk melakukan pekerjaan kefarmasian.

Pharmacists hold an important role in pharmaceutical practices. One of the most crucial things that should be done to be a professional and competent pharmacist is to participate directly in the practice of pharmacy. Therefore, prospective pharmacists are required to undergo professional practice to gather knowledge and experience to understand the role of pharmacists and increase competence before entering the world of work. Professional Practice of Pharmacist are held at PT. Kalbio Global Medika from January to February 2022 and Apotek Kimia Farma on May 2022. Through these activities, prospective pharmacists should be able to obtain the proper insight, skills, knowledge, and experience to perform well in pharmaceutical practice."

"Apoteker memiliki peran kunci dalam beragai aspek obat, mulai dari penemuan, produksi, hingga penyerahan obat ke tangan konsumen. Calon apoteker dituntut memiliki wawasan, pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan pengalaman sebelum terlibat langsung dalam praktik kefarmasian. Salah satu bentuk peningkatan keterampilan professional apoteker adalah Praktik Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) yang dirancang untuk membantu calon apoteker memahami dan mengembangkan kompetensinya. PT. Kalbio Global Medika, Puskesmas Kecamatan Jagakarsa dan Apotek Kimia Farma Dramaga merupakan salah satu instansi yang bekerja sama dengan Program Studi Profesi Apoteker Fakultas Farmasi Universitas Indonesia agar calon apoteker dapat menjalankan PKPA pada periode periode Februari – Mei 2022. Melalui PKPA di apotek, Puskesmas, dan industri tersebut, calon apoteker diharapkan mampu memperoleh wawasan, pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan pengalaman untuk melakukan praktek kefarmasian.

Pharmacists play a crucial role in all facets of the drug industry, from drug discovery to production to consumer delivery. Before directly engaging in pharmaceutical practice, aspiring pharmacists must have insight, knowledge, skills, and experience. The Professional Pharmacist Practice Act (PKPA), which is intended to help prospective pharmacists recognize and enhance their competencies, is one method of enhancing pharmacists' professional skills. PT. Kalbio Global Medika, Jagakarsa District Health Center, and Kimia Farma Dramaga Pharmacy are among the institutions that work collaboratively with the Pharmacist Professional Study Program, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Indonesia prospective pharmacists can take the PKPA examination between February and May 2022. Prospective pharmacists must acquire the necessary insight, knowledge, skills, and experience to practice pharmacy through PKPA in pharmacies, health centers, and these industries."
