"Dalam dunia manajemen proyek, selain mengelola satu proyek besar, terdapat juga proyek-proyek kecil yang berjalan secara simultan dengan tingkat kompleksitas yang lebih tinggi, masalah utamanya adalah bagaimana mengelola sumber daya terbatas dan memperbaharui prioritisasi proyek berkelanjutan. Sehingga perlu bagi perusahaan untuk dapat membangun kebijakan dalam mengelola multi proyek. Tulisan ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi peningkatan pengelolaan multi proyek khususnya dalam mengelola produktivitas penyelesaian tugas-tugas perekayasaan. Untuk membuat keputusan yang tepat, membangun kebijakan harus berbasis pada resultan dari proses sebab dan akibat, sehingga memerlukan model sistem dinamis untuk memahami perilaku yang kompeks. Hasil dari model sistem dinamis adalah memberikan rekomendasi untuk pengelolaan manajemen multi proyek.

In the world of project management, there are single large projects to manage as well as those with small projects running simultaneously thus introducing higher levels complexity. The main problem is how to manage lack of resources and continuously update the prioritization of project. Therefore a company will need to be able to develop policies for managing multiple projects. This paper aims to identify factors that enhance multi project management especialy in managing productivity to complete engineering tasks. In order to make the right decisions, policy development should be based on resultant desired cause and effect processes requiring dynamic system modelling for understanding complex behaviour. The outcome of dynamic modelling is to provide policy recomendations for managing complex multi project operations."

"Sebuah proyek dikatakan sukses apabila dapat memenuhi kriteria mendasar yaitu menyelesaikan dengan tepat waktu, biaya yang dikeluarkan dalam anggaran, dan sesuai dengan persyaratan kualitas yang ditetapkan. Sayangnya, proyek-proyek EPC Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Uap (PLTU) batubara di Indonesia banyak yang mengalami keterlambatan, sehingga penyelidikan mengenai masalah ini dibutuhkan agar program pembangunan pembangkit listrik mendatang menjadi lebih baik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor utama yang menyebabkan terjadinya keterlambatan pada proyek EPC Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Uap (PLTU) batubara di Indonesia, serta memberikan rekomendasi respon risiko untuk tindakan perbaikan atas terjadinya keterlambatan pada proyek yang sedang berjalan dan pencegahan pada proyek mendatang. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan melakukan survey kepada para pakar dan project manager dan tim yang terlibat secara langsung dalam proyek, serta validasi ke proyek yang sedang berjalan.

A project is said to succeed if it can meet the basic criteria that is completed in a timely, cost incurred in the budget, and in accordance with the specified quality requirements. Unfortunately, many EPC power plant projects in Indonesia are delayed, so the investigation on the matter needed for future power plant construction program would be better. The purpose of this study was to identify the major factors causing delays in power plant EPC projects in Indonesia, also make risk respon recommendations for correction of ongoing projects ang prevention of any delays in future projects. The method used is to do a survey to the experts, project managers and teams directly involved in the project, as well as validation to ongoing projects."

"Komunikasi tim proyek yang efektif merupakan salah satu faktor penting untuk mencapai kesuksesan proyek. Kesuksesan sebuah proyek, salah satunya ditunjukkan dari pengendalian kinerja waktu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa jauh pengaruh faktor-faktor efektivitas komunikasi dan cara pengelolaannya terhadap kinerja waktu proyek. Penelitian ini dikhususkan pada proyek-proyek yang dikerjakan di PT X. Pengolahan data dilakukan menggunakan metode descriptive exploration, yaitu hasil survey berupa wawancara dan kuesioner kepada pakar dan responden. Analisa data deskriptif dan analisa korelasi didapat untuk melihat prioritas factor ranking dengan program SPSS. Dari hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa terdapat faktor-faktor komunikasi yang berpengaruh terhadap kinerja waktu proyek dan cara pengelolaan faktor-faktor tersebut sehingga menjadi efektif.

Project team communication is a vital process to effectively achieve project success. One of project success criteria is good time performance. This research established specific objectives based on the hypothesis that the good time performance of a project is positively correlated with the effectiveness of the project team's communication. The methodology in this research consisted of questionnaire development, data collection and analysis. The ensuing statistical analysis of questionnaire responses identified critical communications and time performance used in validating the research hypothesis. The benefits gained from this research are significant. The understanding of the identified communication factors provides a framework for project participants to develop strategies for improving communication effectiveness. Therefore, effectively managing these factors of communication in practice can improve the project performance."

"Teknologi merupakan suatu penerapan dari perpaduan ilmu pengetahuan yang dapat bermanfaat bagi seluruh umat manusia, oleh sebab itu pengembangan dan pemberian kepercayaan kepada suatu teknologi yang sedang berkembang merupakan suatu hal yang harus dilakukan. Metode konstruksi pra cetak terhadap sebuah struktur yaitu kolom juga merupakan sebuah teknologi yang sedang berkembang di Indonesia. Namun masih barunya teknologi ini berkembang membuat belum timbulnya kepercayaan kepada teknologi ini walaupun metode ini berpotensi untuk meningkatkan keseluruhan kinerja proyek baik dari segi waktu dan biaya, oleh karena itu penulis memilih untuk menganalisa masalah ini untuk membuktikan efisiensi dari teknologi pra cetak kolom.

Technology is an implementation of science combination that could be usefull for the mankind, therefore improvement and trust that given to the developing technology is something that must do. Precast construction method for column is developing in Indonesia. But because of this is a new developing technology it makes this technology credibility is still questionable by the people even this technology has a potency of improving overall time and cost efficiency of the project, therefore the writer choose to analyze this problem to prove of the precast column technology efficiency."
