Cognitive impairment is considered as a public health challenge in Indonesia with its proportion reaching more than 50% in pre-elderly and elderly in Indonesia in 2014. The association between chronic diseases and cognitive impairment, which implied in the results of the study, can also be used to underlie various elderly health programs in Indonesia, specifically the one that can reduce the risks of dementia in later life."
