Fiscal decentralization enters into proverty alleviation strategy in a number of ways.The proximity of policy makers to the target groups reduces information and transaction costs of indentifying the poor and helps in designing potentially successful capacity improving and safety net policies. The main purpose of this research is to reveal how the effects of government expenditure on proverty alleviation through dynamic interactions between economic growth and income inequality.
