Objek penelitian yang dikaji dalam skripsi ini yaitu Pecinan di Bogor. Penelitian ini bertujuan memberikan gambaran mengenai morfologi Pecinan berdasarkan bentuk penataan, keletakan, arah hadap, persebaran dan hubungan antar bangunan, serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penataan tersebut. Penelitian Pecinan ini meliputi tiga tahap yaitu observasi, deskripsi, dan eksplanasi. Melalui observasi diketahui bahwa elemen-elemen pembentuk Pecinan Bogor meliputi klenteng, pasar, ruko, akses jalan, dan makam. Dalam analisis metode yang digunakan ada dua yaitu analisis morfologi (bentuk) dan analisis lokasional (keletakan).Dari hasil analisis diketahui bentuk Pecinan Bogor dapat dikategorikan ke dalam pola linier terhadap Jalan Surya Kencana. Letak bangunan lebih terkonsentrasi di bagian Utara Pecinan dengan klenteng sebagai pusatnya dan memanjang ke Selatan. Melalui penafsiran diketahui bahwa kaidah-kaidah feng shui diterapkan pada pemukiman tersebut. Selain faktor-faktor tersebut, ada faktor lain yang juga mempengaruhi bentuk dari Pecinan Bogor yaitu factor politik (struktural) dan ekonomi (fungsional).
The object of this research is Chinese settlement in Bogor. The purpose on this research is to have a precise form of the Chinese settlement based on its form of layout, direction, spatial distribution, and the connection between the building, and the other factor that are forming the settlement. This research has three steps, observation, description, and explanation. Through observation are known the elements forming the Chinese settlement including temple, market, shop house, road access, and tomb. There are two analysis methods that use in this research, that is morphology analysis (form) and location analysis (placement).The results from the analysis are known that the Chinese settlement in Bogor can be categories into the linear pattern to the Surya Kencana road. The buildings are concentrated in the north part of the settlement, with the temple as the center and the form is elongated through the road southward. From the explanation is known that the aspects of the feng shui are used on this settlement. Beside that political factor (structural) and the conomical factor (functional) are also affecting the forming of the Chinese settlement in Bogor. |
