Universal Child Immunization coverage in Depok is low. It might cause illnesses which can be prevented by immunization. Therefore it is important to conduct compliance immunization analyze. The purpose of this study was to determine the association of compliance immunization with selected maternal characteristics and interaction client-health profession. The design of this research was cross sectional. The sample of this study was 237 mothers of 11—23 months infants. The instruments employed including Social Support questionnaire 6, Health Self-Determinism Index, Communicable Disease Perceived Vulnerability Score, and an investigator–developed instrument. Data were collected by using a structure interview to each respondent. Descriptive statistics were used to examine maternal characteristics and element of client - professional interaction. The result of this study are UCI coverage about 31,6% and Hepatitis B0-7 coverage about 38,6%. It’s mean falling off the coverage. Bivariate analysis were used to test the associations among maternal characteristic, maternal affective anclient-professional interaction factors and immunization compliance. Based on logistic regression analysis was found that health insurance and affective response to immunization has correlation with immunization compliance. Further, nurses should conduct health education optimally. Recommendation for future research is conducting the research to look external and internal factors. |
