Skripsi ini meneliti novel semi-otobiografi berjudul Beijing Wawa (BW) karya Chun Shu melalui pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori pendekatan yang mengutamakan karya atau teks sastra sebagai bahan penelaahan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk membahas gaya hidup subkultur yang diwakili oleh tokoh utama Chun Shu dalam novel tersebut. Berdasarkan penelitian terhadap novel Beijing Wawa ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa tokoh Chun Shu, melalui pencitraan diri serta pemikiran-pemikirannya, ternyata mewakili gaya hidup kaum punk di kota Beijing.
The focus of this thesis is to study Beijing Wawa, a semi-autobiography novel by Chun Shu, through the approach of sociological literature by using the theory that emphasizes literature work as the object of analysis. The objective of this study is to discuss the sub-cultural lifestyle which represented by the main character Chun Shu. Based on the study of this novel, it can be concluded that Chun Shu, through her self-imaging and thoughts, apparently represents the Beijing Punk community's lifestyle. |
