Tesis ini mengkaji permasalahan kemacetan yang terjadi di salah satu kota besar yaitu Semarang. Di kota ini memiliki keunikan yang mirip dengan Jakarta yaitu masuknya arus kendaraan dari luar kota menuju kota sehingga terjadi penumpukan kendaraan pada jam sibuk. Selain permasalahan tata ruang dan kedisiplinan juga dihadapakan pada masalah rusaknya infrastruktur karena alam yaitu banjir rob yang sering terjadi di kota Semarang.Tesis ini bertujuan untuk mencari alternatif terbaik untuk mengatasi kemacetan yang terjadi. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah Analytical Hierarchy Process, karena dengan menggunakan metode AHP dapat diambil keputusan untuk memilih alternatif yang terbaik.Kesimpulan dan temuan dari tesis ini adalah alternatif terbaik untuk mengatasi kemacetan yaitu, meningkatkan kapasitas jalan dengan moda yang terbanyak dipilih untuk digunakan dalam bepergian adalah Bus Rapid Transit. This thesis try to explore the subsistency problem that happen on the traffic in Semarang. It is happen because of there is a lot people that works in the urban area is living at sub- urban, there will be an overload capacity in the rush hour such as in the moming and after work hour. The trafic jam happened because a lot of causes such as nature cause. So the infrastrucutre is need more attention. Int this examamination is come to need of integration of transportation and special attention to infrastructure that can be more reliable and resist for nature cause.The goal of this thesis is to seek the best alternatives to overcome the bottleneck. The methodology that is used in this thesis is AnalyticaI Hierarchy Process, since using this method the decision to choose the best alternatives can be taken..The summary and discovery of this thesis reflect the best altematives to overcome bottleneck, which is increasing the road capacity with the most chosen mode to be used in travelling, that is Bus Rapid Transit. |
