Element impurity determination in U3 Si2 powder by using ICPS equipment, the analysis of trace elements in U3 Si2 powder (Al, B,Cd,Co,Cu,Fe,NI,Li,Zn) has been done by using ICPS. The aim of this activity is to get the data support or comparator in verification between work is to verity the trace elements content quantitatively in U3 Si2 powder and to verity its specification toward the required standard specified by IAEA. Sample preparation is carried out by dissolving of 1 g U3 Si2 powder, in HNO3 6M, then filtered and extracted with TBP / Hexane (7:3). Result of analysis, indicate that all metal element (Al,B,Cd,Co,Cu,Fe,Ni,Zn,Li) which is required in nuclear fuel element specification, can be detected quality.... |
