Tesis ini membahas tentang Pendapat Kepala Sekolah dan Komite Sekolah Terhadap Perpustakaan pada SMKN Kabupaten Tangerang. Penelitian dengan metode kualitatif dengan informan delapan orang Kepala Sekolah dan delapan orang Komite Sekolah di lingkugan Kabupaten Tangerang. Dalam mengumpulkan data dengan observasi, wawancara dan kajian pustaka, kemudian data dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif naratif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan delapan pendapat Kepala Sekolah terhadap Perpustakaan, dua kepala sekolah kurang maksimal memberikan perhatian terhadap perpustakaan dan enam kepala sekolah belum memprioritaskan Perpustakaan, Perpustakaan Sekolah masih merupakan sarana pendukung bukan sebagai sumber belajar yang terintegrasi dalam kurikulum. Begitu juga pendapat Komite Sekolah terhadap perpustakaan belum maksimal ikut secara aktif dalam kegiatan perencanaan Program Sekolah dan masih sebagai simbol legitimasi saja. Peneliti menyarankan agar kepala sekolah memprioritaskan sarana prasarana perpustakaan sekolah sebagai bagian yang terintegral dalam kurikulum di sekolah. Dan kepada komite sekolah berperan aktif dalam mewujudkan sarana prasarana perpustakaan sesuai dengan standar yang telah diatur pada peraturan dan Undang-undang perpustakaan. thesis discusses the Head Master Opinion and of the School Committee in the Library at SMKN Tangerang. The studi cases Qualitative research method with 16 informants; eight informants are school Principals, the other eight informants are from School Committees within Tangerang regency area. Data was collecting through observations, interviews and literature reviews, data was analyzed using narrative, descriptive method. The result of the study show that eight opinions of library school principal, the principal is less maximum two pay attention to the library and six school principals have not prioritize libraries, school library is still a supporting tool rather than as a source of learning that is integrated in the curriculum. so also the opinion of the school committee of the library has not been maximally participate actively in the planning of school programs and still as a symbol of legitimacy only. Researchers suggested that the principal priority of school library facilities and infrastructure as part of integrated in curriculum of the schools. And to the school committee plays an active role in creating infrastructure facilities in accordance with the standard library that is set up on the rules and laws of the library. |
