Abstract
Tujuan penelitian untuk memahami secara mendalam arti dan makna pengalaman lansi melakukan perawatan tekanan darah tinggi. Desain penelitian menggunakan fenomenologi deskriptif dengan wawancara mendalam. Partisipan diperoleh dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengalaman lansia melakukan perawatan hipertensi merupakan pengalaman yang bersifat individual. Keluarga telah memberikan dukungan dalam perawatan hipertensi dan perlu diselaraskan dengan dukungan petugas kesehatan.
The purpose of this study was to provide deeper understanding of elderly's ecperiences in caring for hypertension. This study applied descriptive phenomenology design and use indepth interview in data collection method. The participants were identified by purposive sampling technique. This result showed that caring for hypertension was basically based on elderly's ecperiences individually. Family had provided social support during the treatment of hypertension. It needed to be integrated to the support from the health care team.
