Abstract
Listrik merupakan hal yang sangat penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari masyarakat. Permasalah timbul apabila terjadi pemadaman listrik yang berlangsung sering. Tesis ini membahas tentang perlindungan konsumen terhadap pemadaman listrik menurut Undang-Undang Perlindungan Konsumen dan Undang-Undang Ketenagalistrikan. Dibahas pula upaya-upaya hukum yang dapat dilakukan konsumen bila terjadi pemadaman listrik. Dalam penelitian ini, mempergunakan metode penelitian yuridis-normatif, hal mana lebih mengutamakan pendekatan terhadap norma-norma hukum yang telah ada, data-data yang diperoleh kemudian diolah dan dilakukan analisis secara kualitatif.
Electricity is very important in the daily life of the community. Problems arise when a blackout that lasted frequently. This thesis discusses consumer protection against power outages according to the Consumer Protection Act and the Electricity Act. Also discussed the efforts of consumer law that can be done when a blackout. In this study,the method of juridical-normative research, which prefers the approach to the legal norms that already exist, the data obtained is then processed and analyzed qualitatively.
