Abstract
Skripsi ini menyajikan transliterasi teks Hikayat Sayidina Umar dengan menggunakan metode edisi kritis yang berasal dari satu sumber. Penelitian ini juga membahas perbandingan alur antara teks Hikayat Sayidina Umar dengan Hikayat Abu Samah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat persamaan alur di antara kedua teks. Akan tetapi, masih terdapat perbedaan di antara kedua teks yang secara prinsip tidak mengubah inti cerita. Selain itu, pada penelitian ini ditemukan kekhasan penggunaan kosakata dengan dialek Ambon. Hal ini disebabkan naskah ini berasal dari Ambon.
......This undergraduate thesis present the text transliteration Hikayat Sayidina Umar by using methods of critical editions from one source. The study also discusses the comparison between the text flow with Hikayat Abu Samah. The results of this study indicate that there are similarities in the groove between the two text. However, there are still differences between two text which in principle does not change the core story. In addition, the study found the typical use of dialect vocabulary of Ambon. This is due to the manuscript come form Ambon.
