Masalah yang dimunculkan pada penelitian ini adalah bagaimana kepuasan pemakai dari profesi Pengacara, Peneliti, Wartawan Hukum dan Pengelola pusat dokumntasi hukum dan apakah ada perbedaan kepuasan antara profesi tersebut terhadap kualitas koleksi Peraturan dan Putusan Perpustakaan Daniel S.Lev. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan survei pendapat umum. Dalam penelitian ini populasinya adalah Anggota Internal dan Anggota Komunitas Perpustakaan Daniel S.Lev. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah probability sampling, Sedangkan metode yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling, karena pemilihan sampel diambil dari anggota perpustakaan terdiri dari berbagai latar belakang profesi yang berbeda, yaitu Pengacara, Peneliti, Wartawan/Redaksi, dan Pengelola pusat dokumentasi hokum (PPDH), maka digunakan metode Proporsional Allocation untuk menentukan besarnya sampel yang harus diambil dari setiap profesi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tingkat kepuasan pemakai dari profesi Pengacara, Peneliti, Wartawan dan Pengelola Pusat Dokumentasi Hukum terhadap koleksi Peraturan dan Putusan yang terdapat pada Perpustakaan Daniel S.Lev adalah memuaskan. Namun, hasil tersebut tidak mutlak sehingga masih ada pemakai profesi wartawan yang tidak puas terhadap koleksi putusan. Dengan demikian perlu ditingkatkan kualitas koleksi baik dari segi kelengkapan, keterkaitan, ketepatan dan kemutakhiran. Selain itu, terdapat perbedaan kepuasan yang dinyatakan setiap profesi terhadap indikator. Dengan demikian perlu diperhatikan kebutuhan koleksi setiap profesi.
Abstract
This study takes the title: "User Satisfaction of Rules and Decisions Collection at theDaniel S.lev Library". The problem raised in this research is: how user satisfaction of the profession Lawyers, Researchers, Journalists and managers of law documentation center and whether there are differences between the professions of satisfaction to quality of rules and decision collections at Daniel S. Lev Library. This type of research used is quantitative descriptive approach by using public opinion surveys. In this study population was of Internal Members and Members of the Community Library Daniel S. Lev. Sampling technique used in this study is probability sampling, while the method used is simple random sampling, because the selection of samples were taken from members of the library consists of many different professional backgrounds, namely Lawyer, Researcher, Journalist / Editor, and Manager of law documentation center, then used the method to determine the amount of Proportional Allocation of samples to be taken from each profession. The results showed that the level of user satisfaction from the profession's lawyer, researcher, journalist and manager of law Documentation Center of Rules and Decision collection contained in Daniel S. Lev library is satisfactory. However, these results are not absolute so that there are still users of professional journalists who are not satisfied with the collection of the verdict. Thus needs to be improved both in terms of quality collection completeness, relevance, accuracy and regency. In addition, there are differences in every profession expressed satisfaction towards the indicator. Thus to consider the needs of every professional collection. |
