Skripsi ini membahas mengenai Perancangan dan Prototype Bus Way Berbasis Mikrokontroler ATMega 8535. Perancangan berupa sistem sistem perjalanan Bus Way yang di atur secara otomatis, sistem terdiri dari dua sistem yaitu yang pertama sistem di dalam bus seperti jalur perjalanan bus yang mengikuti garis, proses pemberhentian bus yang dapat membedakan setiap halte-haltenya, proses penghitungan penumpang, sedangkan sistem yang kedua sistem di luar bus yaitu proses pengaturan lampu lalu lintas yang semuanya di control oleh Mikrokontroler ATMega 8535 yang di buat untuk menjadikan bus ke depannya menjadi otomatis dan efisien serta mengurang tingkat kemacetan dan kecelakaan yang sering terjadi di jalan.
