Tesis ini mengangkat permasalahan penyampaian informasi koleksi kepada pengunjung museum dengan studi kasus Museum Bank Mandiri. Kebutuhan utama di museum untuk mendapatkan informasi dan pengetahuan adalah koleksi. Selain informasi, yang juga mendukung pengunjung untuk dapat memahami konteks museum adalah alur pameran yang jelas. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang diawali dengan pemaparan mengenai penyajian informasi koleksi dan tata pamer museum saat ini. Beranjak dari kondisi tersebut akan dilihat pembentukan interpretasi dan penyampaian informasi melalui label yang baik bagi perkembangan Museum Bank Mandiri dan peran dari alur dan penempatan koleksi yang efektif dalam penyampaian pesan dan tujuan museum. This thesis raised the issue of delivering collection information to museum's visitors, case study in Museum Bank Mandiri. The main requirement at the museum to get information and knowledge is the collection. Besides information, which also supports the visitors to be able to understand the context of the museum are the exhibition. This research is a qualitative study that begins with the exposure of presentations of information collection and administration of this exhibition at the museum. From these conditions will be seen the formation of the interpretation and delivery process of information via the most suitable label for the development of Museum Bank Mandiri and the role of the exhibition that is effective in delivering the message and purpose of the museum. |
