ASI eksklusif merupakan satu-satunya nutrisi yang tidak tergantikan bagi neonatus. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui perbedaan dampak pemberian nutrisi ASI eksklusif dan non eksklusif terhadap perubahan ukuran antropometri dan status imunitas neonatus di RSUD Al Ihsan Provinsi Jawa Barat. Desain kuantitatif observasional dengan cohort study. Sebanyak 62 neonatus diambil sebagai sampel penelitian dengan cara Purposive sampling. Analisa dengan t-test independen, chi square dan ANOVA. Hasil penelitian terdapat perbedaan rata-rata perubahan berat badan dan status imunitas antara kelompok observasi ASI eksklusif dan kelompok observasi non eksklusif, tidak terdapat perbedaan rata-rata perubahan panjang badan antara kelompok observasi ASI eksklusif dan kelompok observasi non eksklusif. Hasil penelitian merekomendasikan dilakukan program pendampingan oleh perawat kepada neonatus untuk mendapatkan ASI eksklusif selama masa neonatus di rumah sakit. Exclusive breastfeeding is the only nutrient that is indispensable for the neonate. This study aims to determine differences in the impact of exclusive breast feeding and non-exclusive to changes in anthropometric measures and immune status of neonates in Al Ihsan Hospital of West Java Province. This quantitative observational study design with cohort study methods. A total of 62 neonates were sampled by way of purposive sampling. The results study show that the average change in weight neonates significantly differed between the given exclusive and non exclusive breastfeeding, The average change in body length of neonates did not differ significantly between the given exclusive and non exclusive breastfeeding, Neonatal immunity levels differ significantly between the given exclusive and non exclusive breastfeeding. The study recommends mentoring program conducted by nurses to neonates to get exclusive breastfeeding for the newborn period. |
