Program preceptorship adalah pendekatan efektif dalam pengajaran klinik, merupakan bagian integral dari orientasi perawat baru. Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui hubungan program preceptorship dan karakteristik perawat dengan proses adaptasi perawat baru di PKSC, RSB, dan RSPI. Desain penelitian deskriptif korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel penelitian 100 perawat baru. Instrumen digunakan adalah kuesioner. Hasil penelitian adalah variabel berhubungan dengan proses adaptasi dimana nilai p < 0,05 adalah self efficacy, lama kerja, dan konflik. Faktor dominan berhubungan dengan proses adaptasi adalah self efficacy dengan nilai OR 6,68. Program preceptorship dan karakteristik perawat berhubungan dengan proses adaptasi perawat baru. Manajer keperawatan perlu menyediakan sumber dukungan preceptor yang kompeten untuk meningkatkan self efficacy perawat baru sehingga membantu proses adaptasi. Preceptorship program is the effective approach in clinical teaching and an integral part of the orientation of new nurses. The research aims to determine the relationship preceptorship programs and the characteristics of nurses with the adaptation process of new nurses in PKSC, RSB, and RSPI. The study design used a descriptive correlation with the cross-sectional approach. The samples 100 new nurses. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The results are the variables associated with the process of adaptation in which the p-value <0.05 was self-efficacy, length of employment, and conflict. Dominant factor related to the adaptation process is selfefficacy with the OR 6.68. Preceptorship programs and the characteristics of nurses associated with the process of adaptation of new nurses. Nursing managers need to provide a competent source of support preceptor for new nurses improve the selfefficacy so that helps the adaptation process. |
