ABSTRAK
Tesis ini membahas mutu lulusan Program Diploma III Kebidanan Sekolah Tingi Ilmu Kesehatan Medistra Indonesia Periode Tahun 2005-2008. Dalam upaya perbaikan mutu yang berkelanjutan diperlukan kajian terhadap mutu lulusan program Diploma III Kebidanan Sekolah Tingi Ilmu Kesehatan Medistra Indonesia dari sisi pengguna lulusan dalam aspek kompetensi pendukung dan utama.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan survei deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross sectional untuk mendapatkan gambaran mutu lulusan. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara deskriptif pada karakteristik, tingkat penilaian dan harapan pengguna lulusan serta mutu lulusan melalui perhitungan persen kesesuaian. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji hubungan karakteristik dan dilakukan uji multivariat untuk mendapatkan informasi mengenai variabel penentu mutu lulusan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar lulusan memiliki nilai ujian saringan masuk yang tinggi, berasal dari sekolah menengah swasta, memiliki IPK yang tinggi, lulus tepat waktu dan tidak aktif dalam kegiatan organisasi. Dalam aspek kompetensi pendukung sebagian besar (59,8%) memiliki mutu yang baik, dengan rata-rata sebesar 82,17%, dimana nilai terendah adalah untuk atribut kepercayaan diri (67,02%) dan tertinggi pada atribut kemampuan sosialisasi (88,29%). Dalam aspek kompetensi utama, sebagian besar (66,0%) memiliki mutu yang baik. Dalam kompetensi utama, rata-rata mutu lulusan sebesar 83,23%. Persen kesesuaian tertinggi (89,42%) adalah pada kemampuan identifikasi data kesehatan ibu nifas dan terendah (69,49%) pada kemampuan melakukan konseling pada ibu hamil. Pada aspek kompetensi pendukung, semua karakteristik individu lulusan tidak menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan terhadap mutu lulusan, demikian juga pada aspek kompetensi utama. Hasil Uji multivariat menunjukkan bahwa tidak yang variabel yang menentukan secara dominan terhadap mutu lulusan dalam kedua aspek kompetensi.Dari temuan berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini disarankan kepada Sekolah Tingi Ilmu Kesehatan Medistra Indonesia untuk melakukan perbaikan internal untuk lebih meningkatkan mutu lulusan menjadi lebih baik lagi dan melakukan evaluasi secara periodik terhadap mutu lulusannya.
ABSTRACT
This thesis explores the quality of graduates of the Midwifery Diploma Program of Medistra Health Sciences Institute of Indonesia Period 2005 to 2008. Continuous study is need to be done in order to improve and develop to the quality of graduates of the Midwifery Diploma Program of Medistra Health Sciences Institute of Indonesia graduates from the user point of view in the main and supporting aspects of competencies.This study used a descriptive survey with cross sectional approach to obtain the quality of graduates. The collected data were analyzed descriptively on the characteristics, level of assessment and user expectations of quality graduates and graduates through the calculation of percent compliance. More further testing of the relationship characteristics and multivariate testing to obtain information about the variable quality of graduates? determinants.The result has presented that most graduates have entrance test scores are high, came from private secondary schools, have a high GPA, graduating on time and not active in organized activities. In supporting the competence aspect of most (59.8%) had good quality, with an average of 82.17%, which was the lowest value for the attribute of self-esteem (67.02%) and highest on the ability of socialization (88, 29%). In the aspect of core competencies, most (66.0%) had good quality. In the main competencies, the average quality of graduates is 83.23%. The highest suitability percentage (89.42%) is on the ability to identify data and the lowest puerperal women (69.49%) on the ability to do counseling in pregnant women. In the aspect of supporting competence, all the individual characteristics of graduates did not show any significant correlation to the quality of graduates, as well as on aspects of the core competencies. Multivariate test results has presented that there is a dominant variable that determines the quality of graduates in these two aspects of competence.From the discovering result of this study is recommended to the Midwifery Diploma Program of Medistra Health Sciences Institute of Indonesia to make internal improvements for improving the quality of graduates and conduct periodically evaluations of quality of its graduates. |
