Opini negatif masyarakat Indonesia terhadap keberadaan program rintisan sekolah bertaraf Internasional akhir-akhir ini menuntut adanya evaluasi yang mampu memperjelas perihal apa dan bagaimana dengan R-SMA-BI tersebut. Tesis ini bermaksud menganalisis pelaksanaan program rintisan sekolah menengah atas bertaraf internasional di Provinsi Lampung rintisan tahun 2006 dengan menggunakan model Context, Input, Process, Product (CIPP), melalui pendekatan positivisme dengan metode kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah Kepala Sekolah, Koordinator Program RSBMAI, guru/pengajar, siswa, kepala administrasi , unsur Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi, Unsur Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten/Kota, Komite Sekolah di SMA RSBI di Provinsi Lampung rintisan 2006. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada aspek konteks, di ke-tiga RSMABI memulai program Rintisan sekolah bertaraf internasional setelah ditunjuk oleh pemerintah pusat melalui surat resmi. Pada aspek Input ke-tiga sekolah rintisan SBI melakukan sistem seleksi siswa baru secara bertahap. Aspek Proses di ke-tiga RSMA-BI telah menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis TIK, pembelajaran bilingual, adaptasi kurikulum Cambridge. Pada aspek Produk /Output menunjukkan lulusan di ke-tiga R-SMA-BI memiliki nilai Ujian Nasional rata-rata di atas 7,5 dan lulusan dapat diterima di perguruan tinggi favorit, dua R-SMA-BI mencapai diatas 80 % dan satu RSMA-BI baru mencapai 74,71 %. The negative public opinion in Indonesia to the existence of an international school pilot program in recent times calls for an evaluation that is able to clarify about what and how to RSBI is. This thesis intends to analyze the implementation of the pilot program of an international school in Lampung Province in 2006 with the pilot using the Context, Input, Process, Product (CIPP) model, through positivism approach with qualitative methods. Research subjects are the Principal, Coordinator RSBI Program, teachers/instructors, students, the head of administration, elements of the Provincial Education Office, District Education Office Elements, the School Committee at the high school in Lampung Province RSBI 2006 piloting. The results research showed context aspects, in the three pilot schools started the program international pilot school program after appointed by government through a formal letter. On Input aspect they do the new student selection using gradually system. From process aspects, these schools have applied learning process based on ICT, bilingual learning, Cambridge curriculum adaptation. From Product aspect the output shows graduates students these school have National Examination score more than 7.5 and can be accepted in favorites university above 80 % for two schools and 74.71% for the one. |
