Abstract
Telah dibuat sebuah rancang bangun sistem pengendali temperatur dengan sensor termokopel tipe-k dengan memanfaatkan perkembangan mikrokontroler, yaitu Mikrokontroler ATmega 16. Keluaran yang sangat kecil berorde mikrovolt yang keluar dari termokopel akan dikompensasi dan diperkuat oleh operational amplifier TL081. Sinyal analog yang berasal dari perangkat keras kemudian diubah menjadi sinyal digital oleh ADC internal 10 bit pada mikrokontroler. Selanjutnya Graphical User Interface (GUI) yang dibuat dengan software LabView 8.5 digunakan untuk pengolahan data dan menampilkan data hasil pengendalian sistem dalam bentuk data serta grafik. Pengambilan data dilakukan di Pusat Penelitian Material Sains dan Teknik Kampus UI Salemba dengan menggunakan fasilitas furnace yang memadai.

A very small output, in microvolt order, will be compensated and amplified by an operational amplifier TL081 with variable-amplification setting. An analog signal from hardware then converted to be a digital signal by 10 bit internal ADC in microcontroller Atmega 16. After that, Graphical User Interface (GUI) assosiated by LabView 8.5 software has builded to processing data and displaying and also representing the output sensor into data and graphical view. Data experiment has taken in Research Center for Material Science and Engineering, Universitas Indonesia, Kampus Salemba with a good furnace plant facility.
