| The emminent economic crisis in the put decade - inparticular in Asia has signified a momentum for initiatefinancial reform as imposed by industrialized countries,with aims to promote resilience in international financialsystem, to install a pre-warning signal, and to enable toseek effective measures to resolve the financial turmoilin the future. The preventive measures among others isto encourage government policy makers to implementinternational standards of governance in its financialsector by method or regulation and best practices. Asideof that, globalization of international financial systeminevitably brings the practice of trade and transactionsacross countries within its outreach, which eventuallyleads to domestic countries to absorb the internationalstandards, either way. |
