Abstract
Relations between the EU and Indonesia are now three decades old. Indonesia - European Union (EU) bilateral relations nowadays have been progressively growing importance and leading towards a positive direction. The growth of Indonesia - EU relations have achieved notable gains and this progress has been made possible among others by the vibrant dynamics and momentous events that occurred in Indonesia as well as in the EU. Indonesia and EU are now moving steadily towards another landmark that is the establishment of a bilateral comprehensive partnership and cooperation agreement. This partnership agreement will surely serve as a basis for mutual future efforts to tap the vast potential of Indonesia - EU bilateral relations.
