| In the historical evolution of relationship between the state as instrument of authority and its subjects, there is no formulation more widely or even globally - accepted other than nation-state. This article will explore the legacies and the influences of nation-state conception - along with its historical development and its national variants - within the European integration process, to see whether the integration process has become another step in the evolution of statehood thinking or only another specimen to nation-state model. |
