Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan, sikap, dan faktor-faktor lain terhadap perilaku pemberian ASI eksklusif di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Alai Ilir Kabupaten Tebo Propinsi Jambi tahun 2011. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan cross sectional, ini dilakukan pada bulan November sampai Desember 2011 dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 144 responden yaitu ibu yang mempunyai bayi 6-12 bulan. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan sebesar 13,9 % ibu yang memberikan ASI eksklusif, ibu berpengetahuan baik cenderung memberikan ASI eksklusif sebanyak 4,9 kali dibandingkan dengan yang berpengetahuan rendah. Saran, untuk Dinas kesehatan Kabupaten Tebo Diharapkan ada suatu kebijakan khusus disertai alokasi anggaran dan pendampingan pelaksanaan ASI eksklusif.
The objective of this reseach was assess the relationship between knowledge, mothers attitudes, and other factors on Practic of exclusive breastfeeding mothers of baby aged 6-12 month. A cross sectional design was used in this research, that was done from November to Desember 2011. A total sample of 144 respondents who were having mothers babies 6-12 months were selected. The research found out that 13,9 % of exclusive breastfeeding, there was a relationship between knowledge and practice of exclusive breastfeeding where as mothers had better knowledge of likely and practice of exclusive breastfeeding 4,9 times higher that of the who had than mothers lower knowledge of exclusive breastfeeding, it was recomanded that Dictrict of Tebo Health office develop a clear policy to support exclusive breastfeeding ad allocate specific budget to develop such program. Advice for the District Tebo hoped there was a spesific policy with budget allocation and implementation of exclusive breastfeeding assistance. |
