Teknik Pembuatan Polimerisasi Metilisoeugenol dengan Katalis Boron Trifluorida Dietel Eter Kompleks

Metilisoeugenol made by metileugenol with isomerisation catalyst way utilize of calium tertierbutoxida (KO-t-Bu) without solution at 100° C temperature. The isomerisation result to be identificationwith gas chromatography (GC) and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (H NMR). From theidentification results with GC method founded that trans-metilisoeugenol more dominate than cis-metil-isoeugenol The metilisoeugenol polimerisation worked in nitrogen atmosphere condition used byboron trifluorida dietil eter complex catalyst and sulphate acid concentrated in n-hexana media. Theresult of polimer in reddish gel shape, was then identified with thin layer chromatography (TLC) andinfra red (IR) spectrometer. The molecul weight of poly (metilisoeugenol) was determined using boilingpoint increasing method (ebuliometri). It was found that the biggest molecular weight was 1517gram/mol with n = 8.5. |
