Abstract
ABSTRAK
Nanosatelit merupakan jenis satelit yang salah satu aplikasinya digunakan sebagai broadcasting informasi bencana alam. Skripsi ini membahas perancangan, fabrikasi dan pengukuran dari dua antena Monopole yang berfungsi sebagai uplink dan downlink, masing - masing bekerja pada frekuensi 145.95 MHz dan 436.915 MHz untuk aplikasi nanosatelit. Perancangan antena dilakukan dengan menggunakan software Computer Simulation Technology (CST) 2011. Adanya keterbatasan dalam dimensi nanosatelit, modifikasi pada antena uplink dilakukan dengan cara menambahkan loading coil. Hasil fabrikasi dari antena diperoleh dua antena downlink dan uplink, masing ? masing memiliki dimensi 15.3 cm dan 32 cm. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran, untuk antena uplink 145.95 diperoleh nilai return loss -10.392 dB dan untuk antena downlink 436.915 diperoleh nilai return loss -10.371 dB.
ABSTRACT
Nanosatellites are a kind of satellites which are mainly used as a natural disaster broadcaster. This thesis discusses the design, fabrication and measurement of two Monopole antennas which functions as uplink and downlink, each of them working in the frequency range of 145.95 MHz to 436.915 MHz for nanosatellite applications. The antenna is designed using the Computer Simulation Technology (CST) 2011 software. Due to the limitations in nanosatellite dimensions, the uplink antenna is modified by adding a loading coil. The fabrication resulted in 2 different kinds of antenna, downlink and uplink, with each having dimensions of 15.3 cm and 32 cm. The measurement resulted in the 145.95 uplink antenna having a return loss of -10.392 dB and the 436.915 downlink antenna having a return loss of -10.371 dB.
