Propolis dalam bentuk nanopartikel (nanopropolis) sangat baik digunakan sebagai bahan aktif sunscreen cream karena ukuran partikelnya <100nm sehingga memiliki kemampuan penetrasi ke dalam kulit yang maksimal. Untuk mendapatkan krim yang memiliki kestabilan yang baik penting sekali mengidentifikasi pengemulsi yang digunakan. Penelitan ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan formula sunscreen cream berbahan aktif nanopropolis dengan penambahan emulsifier dan emollient yang optimum sesuai dengan uji organoleptis, uji stabilitas emulsi, dan uji iritasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapatkan konsentrasi pengemulsi Span 60 dan pelembut Isopropyl Myristate yang optimum yaitu 5% w/w dan 4% w/w. Propolis in nanoparticle form (nanopropolis) is very well used as sunscreen active ingredient cream because the particle size was less than 100 nm that has the capability of penetrating into skin of a maximum. To get the cream that has good stability it is important to identify the emulsifier is used. The aim of this research is to get the sunscreen cream formula with active nanopropolis with the addition of emulsifier and emollient in accordance with organoleptis test, stability of emulsion test, and irritation test. Based on the result of the research, obtained by the optimum concentration of emulsifier Span 60 and Isopropyl Myristate as emollient was 5%w/w and 4%w/w. |
