Gambaran penggunaan alat pelindung diri (APD) terhadap keselamatan kerja perawat IGD RSUD Pasar Rebo tahun 2012 = Description of using PPE (personal protective equipment) for the safety of ER's nurse in Pasar Rebo Hospital

Kepatuhan pemakaian APD oleh perawat saat memberikan tindakan keperawatan sangat memperngaruhi keselamatan diri dari perawat itu sendiri. Kepatuhan yang ditunjukkan dengan sikap positif dapat dipengaruhi oleh tinggi atau rendahnya pengetahuan terhadap pentingnya penggunaan APD. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran penggunaan APD terhadap keselamatan kerja perawat IGD di RSUD Pasar Rebo. Pengambilan sampel dengan metode total sampling dimana peneliti melibatkan semua perawat yang bekerja di IGD RSUD Pasar Rebo dan bersedia untuk terlibat dalam penelitian. Sampel yang terlibat sejumlah 30 orang. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner berbentuk lembaran tes yang berisi 40 pertanyaan dan melalui wawancara dengan kepala perawat. Hasil analisa data menunjukkan bahwa 63,30% perawat IGD memiliki pengetahuan yang tinggi terhadap penggunaan APD. Sebanyak 53,30% perawat memiliki sikap negatif dalam menggunakan APD. Alasan terbanyak menggunakan APD adalah karena ingin menjaga keselamatan diri dan alasan terbanyak tidak menggunakan APD adalah karena sudah terbiasa tidak menggunakan APD. The compliance of using PPE by the nurses when providing nursing actions, greatly affect the safety of the nurses. Compliance it that indicated with a positive attitude, can be affected by high or low level of knowledge of the importance of using PPE. The aims of this research is to know the description of using PPE for safety of the nurse in Emergency Room (ER) of Pasar Rebo Hospital. The sampling's method of this research is total sampling, the researchers involved all the nurses that working in ER of Pasar Rebo Hospital and willing to engage in research. Sample involved 30 persons. Data obtained through a questionnaire sheet-shaped test that containing 40 questions, and through interviews with head nurses of the ER. The results of the analysis data showed that 63.30% ER nurses have a high knowledge of using PPE. And as much as 53.30% of nurses had negative attitudes in the use of PPE. Getting safety is the biggest reason for wearing PPE because nurses want to maintain the safety of themselves and the most reason not wearing PPE was not accustomed to use PPE. |
