Ghesquiere (2000) mengungkapkan bahwa buku anak dapat mengandung nilai-nilai tertentu sehingga dapat menjadi media kritik sosial masyarakat. Skripsi ini membahas nilai-nilai dan kritik sosial yang ingin disampaikan dalam bukuHet boek van alle dingen(2004) karya Guus Kuijer tentang situasi di Belanda pada tahun ?50-an dan relevansinya di tahun 2000-an. Nilai-nilai yang ditemukan antara lain nilai kekeluargaan, kekristenan, dan Calvinisme
Abstract
Ghesquiere (2000) said that a children book could contain certain values and therefore it could be a social critique media. This thesis discusses the values and social critiques in the bukuHet boek van alle dingen(2004) by Guus Kuijer about the situation in the Netherlands around the ?50s and its relevance with situation in the early 2000s. The founded values are family, Christianity, and Calvinism values.
