Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang body protector yang berfungsi untuk menurunkan defect pada proses pengiriman self-drive di PT Astra International TBK ? Toyota Sales Operation atau dikenal dengan AUTO2000. Hal ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tingginya defect pada proses pengiriman mobil baru dengan self-drive dan perlunya sebuah perusahaan otomotif untuk menjamin proses pengiriman mobil baru. Dalam penelitian ini, metode yang digunakan adalah Value Engineering dalam New Product Development. Hasil penelitian ini berupa suatu rancangan body protector yang dapat menurunkan defect pada proses pengiriman self-drive.
......The purpose of this research is designing a body protector to decrease the defect while self-drive delivery process in PT Astra International TBK - Toyota Sales Operation which is known as AUTO2000. The background of this research is due to a high number of defects during the self-drive delivery process and the necessity to guarantee a high-quality new car delivery process. In this research, the method is Value Engineering in New Product. The result of this research is a design of body protector which has a function to decrease the self-drive delivery process defects.
