Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis tingkat profesionalisme supervisi akademik kepala sekolah menengah atas menurut persepsi para guru. Penelitian ini dilakukan di tiga SMAN Kabupaten Indramayu yaitu SMAN 1 Sindang, SMAN 1 Sukagumiwang dan SMAN 1 Gantar dengan total sampel sebanyak 124 orang. Sampel yang digunakan adalah sampel jenuh dengan menggunakan instrumen utama kuesioner. Fokus analisis data pada satu variabel yaitu tingkat profesionalisme supervisi akademik kepala sekolah menengah atas, dengan metode statistik deskriptif seperti nilai modus, median dan prosentase. Hasil penelitian ini secara umum menunjukkan bahwa tingkat profesoinalisme supervisi akademik kepala sekolah menengah atas masih rendah. Dari enam faktor, aspek pengetahuan, keterampilan, komitmen, etika, tanggung jawab dan pengabdian terhadap masyarakat yang digunakan sebagai indikator untuk mengukur tingkat profesionalisme supervisi akademik kepala sekolah hanya empat faktor saja yang dikatakan 'baik'. Dua faktor lainnya yaitu aspek keterampilan kepala sekolah dalam melaksanakan supervisi akademik dan aspek etika termasuk dalam kategori 'cukup'.Masing-masing prosentasenya untuk aspek pengetahuan sebesar 55,65 persen, keterampilan sebesar 44,35 persen, komitmen sebesar 52,42 persen, etika sebesar 50 persen, tanggung jawab sebesar 62,90 persen dan pengabdian terhadap masyarakat sebesar 59,68 persen. Meskipun demikian, jika mengurutkan pada nilai skla Likert maka secara umum keenam faktor tersebut termasuk dalam kategori 'baik' karena berada pada skala 4 yang berarti baik atau mencukupi.
The main objective of this study is to analyze the academic supervision profesionalism level of the senior high school principal to the teacher. This research was conducted in three senior high schools in Indramayu regency namely SMAN 1 Sindang, SMAN 1 Sukagumiwang and SMAN 1 Gantar with a total sample of 124 respondents. The sample of population is total sampling with questionaire as the main instrument. The focus of data analysis in one variable is the academic supervision profesionalism level of the senior high school principal to the teacher, with descriptive statistical methods such as the mode, median and percentages. Results of this research generally indicates that the level of profesionalism in academic supervision to the teachers is still in low level. The six factors, aspects of knowledge, skills, commitment, ethics, responsibility and dedication to the community that are used as indicators to measure the the academic supervision profesionalism level of the senior high school principal to the teacher only four factors are 'good'. Two other factors are the principals skills aspect in carrying out the academic supervision and ethical aspects included in the category of "sufficient". Each percentage for knowledge aspect is 55.65 percent, 44.35 percent for the skills, 52.42 percent for commitment, 50 percent for ethics, 62, 90 percent for responsibility and 59.68 percent for dedication to the community. However, if you sort on the value Likert Scale then in general the six factors are included in the category of "good" because it is on a scale of 4 which means good or adequate. |
