Abstract
Belum adanya laporan mengenai IMD di Kabupaten Berau. Tujuan penelitian mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan perilaku bidan dalam pelaksanaan Inisiasi Menyusu Dini (IMD) di Kabupaten Berau Tahun 2012. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan cross sectional, dilakukan pada bulan April sampai Mei 2012. Responden adalah bidan yang berada diwilayah kerja Kabupaten Berau berjumlah 90 orang. Hasil penelitian didapatkan 47,8% bidan melaksanakan IMD. Ada hubungan yang bermakna antara pelatihan dengan perilaku bidan dalam pelaksanaan IMD, bidan yang telah mengikuti pelatihan cenderung untuk melaksanakan IMD 3,98 kali dibanding bidan yang tidak pernah pelatihan. Atas dasar tersebut diharapkan untuk meningkatkan pelatihan terkait dengan IMD kepada bidan.
There has been no reports of Early Initiation of breastfeeding in Berau regency. The purpose of this research was to determine the factors related with the behavior of midwifes in the implementation of Early Initiation of breastfeeding (IMD) in Berau Regency in 2012. This study uses cross sectional methode, conducted in April to May 2012. Respondents were midwifes working in the Berau area totaled 90 people. The research found that 47.8% midwifes who perform the IMD.There is a significant association between the training and behavioral of midwifes in the implementation of the IMD, midwifes who have attended the training tend to perform the IMD 3.98 times more, compared with the midwifes who have never attended the training. On the basis of that, thus expected to be able to improve the training related with the IMD to the midwife.
