Abstract
ABSTRAK
Tesis ini membahas tentang Strategi Pemerintah Kota Bekasi Dalam Mengatasi Konflik Sosial (Studi Kasus: Bakesbangpolinmas Kota Bekasi). Dalam bahasannya, tesis ini akan mengkaji mengenai strategi apa yang telah dilaksanakan oleh Pemerintah Kota Bekasi untuk penanganan konflik di Kota Bekasi. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan melakukan studi kasus pada konflik yang terjadi di Kota Bekasi. Dalam tesis ini dipaparkan contoh konflik yang pernah terjadi di Kota Bekasi, antara lain Peristiwa Ciketing, Peristiwa Galilea Galaxy dan Peristiwa Kalibaru. Hasil penelitian menyarankan bahwa strategi penanganan konflik yang sudah ada tidak berjalan dengan optimal. Oleh karena itu, perlu ada penguatan fungsi deteksi dini, pencegahan konflik, dan rehabilitasi konflik di dalam penanganan konflik. Penguatan fungsi tersebut dapat berjalan optimal apabila dilakukan perbaikan di dalam rekruitmen aparatur penanganan konflik.
ABSTRACT
The focus of this tesis is describe about Strategy of Bekasi City Government on Solving Social Conflict (Case Study: Bakesbangpolinmas Bekasi City). The purpose of this study is to research analysis about strategy of Bekasi City government have been applied to solving social conflict. The method of this research is qualitative method research with case study. On this tesis, researcher have description analysis some example or cases of social conflict in Bekasi City, such as HKBP Ciketing Church Conflict, Galilea Church Conflict and Kalibaru Conflict. The conclution of this research explained that the strategy of Bekasi City government on solving social conflict didn't effective. Because the condition, the researcher suggested Bekasi City Government is more comprehensive to make a ruling of a public policy product about solving social conflict, especially at Bekasi City.
