ABSTRAK
Tesis ini membahas mengenai pemisahan komponen LPG dari gas pipa penyalur di Gresik, Jawa Timur. Pemisahan komponen LPG tersebut dilakukan untuk memaksimalkan penggunaan bahan bakar LPG untuk kebutuhan energy nasional, sebab hingga saat ini sebagian besar gas alam biasanya langsung dijual tanpa dipisahkan komponen LPG dari gas alam tersebut. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan simulasi proses pemisahan LPG dari gas pipa menggunakan proses refrijerasi dan menghasilkan produk LPG sebesar 26.39 ton/day dan kondensat sebesar 106 barel/day. Nilai investasi yang diperlukan untuk pembangunan lapangan LPG ini yaitu $ 20,877,470. Net Present Value sebesar $ 73,797,369, IRR sebesar 29 % dan Payback Period selama 4 tahun, menggunakan tingkat MARR sebesar 10%. Parameter yang paling sensitive dalam analisa kelayakan ekonomi lapangan LPG ini yaitu nilai investasi, hargajual LPG, dan hargabeli gas umpan.
ABSTRACT
This thesis researched the separation of LPG component from gas in the gas pipe at Gresik, East Java. The separation of LPG component is carried out to maximize the usage of LPG in the national energy scheme. Up until now, most of natural gasses harvested were sold directly in its basic form without separating the LPG component. In this research, the simulation was done on the separation process using the refrigeration technique and it produced 26.39 ton/day LPG product and 106 barrel/day condensate. The investment needed to build the LPG field installation is $20,877,470, with Net Present Value of $73,797,369, Internal Rate of Return of 29 % and Payback Period of 4 years, all using MARR level of 10%. The most sensitive parameter in this feasibility analysis was the initial investment value, price of LPG end product, and price of gas as the raw material. |
