Tesis ini berupaya mendalami pola-pola adaptasi yang dikembangkan penduduk Pesisir Krui menanggapi tantangan/dilema dalam mempertahankan keserasian dengan lingkungan hidupnya dari perspektif ketahanan nasional. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola-pola adaptasi yang dikembangkan masyarakat dalam merespon keterbatasan lahan dan sumberdaya alam, intervensi ekonomi pasar, dan intervensi politik telah melemahkan kohesi sosial dan memicu munculnya gejala-gejala sosial yang mengarah pada konflik dan tindak kekerasan yang membahayakan stabilitas keamanan sehingga mengganggu ketahanan nasional. Penelitian menyarankan agar kebijakan-kebijakan pemerintah terkait kehutanan harus memperhatikan aspek ekologi, ekonomi, sosial, dan budaya masyarakat setempat serta tidak bersifat represif dan diskriminatif. Selain itu, perlu upaya penguatan kelembagaan adat dan penciptaan diversifikasi lapangan pekerjaan untuk mengurangi ketergantungan masyarakat terhadap sumberdaya hutan. This thesis attempts to explore the patterns of adaptation developed by West Lampung Krui Coast residents, as a response to the challenge/dilemma in sustaining harmony with the environment from the perspective of national resilience. This research was conducted with qualitative descriptive method. The result showed that the patterns of adaptation developed by West Lampung Krui Coast residents as a response to the scarcity of land, the intervention of market economy, and the intervention of politic has affected weakening social cohesion and rised social phenomenon such as conflict and violence which endangering the security stabilities thus disturbed national resilience. This research suggest to the government policies interrelated of forestry must be pay attention ecology aspect, economy, social and culture of local society as well as not repressive and discriminate. Besides that, necessary effort strengthened the indigenous institution and creating the diversification of occupation to reduce the interpendency of peoples to the forest resources. |
