ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat seberapa besar pengaruh keberadaan anemon dalam pemeliharaan ikan badut (Amphiprion ocellaris Cuvier,1830 dan Amphiprion sebae Bleeker, 1853 ) terhadap kesehatan ikan dan mengidentifkasi nilai infestasi ektoparasit. Percobaan ini dilakukan di farm ikan hias laut dengan menggunakan RAL (rancangan acak lengkap) dengan empat perlakuan yaitu ikan badut (A. ocellaris) yang dipelihara bersama simbionnya (Heteractis magnifica Quoy & Gaimard, 1833), ikan badut (A. ocellaris) yang dipelihara tanpa simbionnya (H. magnifica), ikan badut (A. sebae) yang dipelihara bukan dengan simbionnya dan ikan badut (A. sebae) dipelihara tanpa simbionnya (anemon) dengan ulangan 3 kali. Parameter yang dilihat pada penelitian ini adalah melihat ikan badut yang dipelihara dengan simbion spesifik dan ikan badut yang dipelihara dengan simbion yang tidak spesifik. Ektoparasit yang ditemukan pada dua jenis ikan badut (A. ocellaris dan A. sebae) terdiri dari Brooklynella hostilis, Cryptocaryon irritans, Trichodina sp , Monogenea dan Crustacea. Nilai intensitas ektoparasit pada akuarium pemeliharaan A.ocellaris selama penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai tertinggi dengan nilai 24.5 untuk jenis parasit Brooklynella hostilis dan ektoparasit jenis Cryptocaryon irritans dengan nilai intensitas tertinggi sebesar 17.5. Pada akuarium pemeliharaan A. sebae, nilai intensitas tertinggi dengan nilai 35 untuk jenis ektoparasit Cryptocaryon irritans dan nilai 30 untuk jenis ektoparasit Brooklynella hostilis ABSTRACT The aim of these research was to measure effect of anemone presence in clownfish maintenance (Amphiprion ocellaris Cuvier,1830 dan Amphiprion sebae Bleeker, 1853) on the health of fish and identify the value of ectoparasite infestation. The research was conducted in the marine ornamental fish farm using the CRD (completely randomized design) with four treatments that clownfish (A. ocellaris) that maintained together with their symbions (Heteractis magnifica, Quoy & Gaimard, 1833), clownfish (A. ocellaris) are maintained without their symbionts (H. magnifica), clownfish (A. sebae) are maintained not by their symbionts (H. magnifica) and clownfish (A. sebae) are maintained without their symbionts (H. magnifica) with 3 repetition. The parameter observed in this research is observing the clownfish reared with specific symbionts and with non-specific symbionts. The result found was that the ectoparasites founded in two types of clownfish are Cryptocaryon irritans, Brooklynella hostilis, Monogenea and Crustacea. The intensity value of the ectoparasites, in the A. ocellaris aquarium during the research showed that the highest value with 24.5 for the Brooklynella hostilis and Cryptocaryon irritans parasites with the highest intensity rate 17.5. In the A. sebae aquarium, the highest rate with 35 points on Cryptocaryon irritans and 30 for Brooklynella hostilis. |
