Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas pengaruh aplikasi pasta CPP-ACP terhadap kekasaran permukaan semen ionomer kaca modifikasi resin (SIKMR) setelah perendaman dalam Coca ColaŽ dengan melakukan perendaman spesimen SIKMR dalam akuabides (kontrol), dalam Coca ColaŽ, pengaplikasian pasta CPP-ACP yang dilanjutkan dengan perendaman dalam Coca ColaŽ, serta pengaplikasian pasta CPP-ACP yang didiamkan 30 menit kemudian dilanjutkan perendaman dalam Coca ColaŽ. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan peningkatan kekasaran permukaan yang signifikan pada spesimen yang direndam Coca ColaŽ, penurunan kekasaran permukaan yang tidak signifikan pada spesimen yang diaplikasikan pasta CPP ACP kemudian direndam Coca ColaŽ, serta penurunan kekasaran permukaan yang signifikan pada spesimen yang diaplikasikan pasta CPP ACP dan didiamkan selama 30 menit kemudian direndam Coca ColaŽ. Dapat disimpulkan pengaplikasian pasta CPP ACP langsung direndam Coca ColaŽ maupun didiamkan 30 menit tidak menunjukkan perbedaan kekasaran permukaan yang signifikan.
This study discusses the effect of CPP-ACP paste applications on surface roughness of resin modified glass ionomer cement (RMGIC) after immersing in Coca ColaŽ by means of RMGIC specimens immersed in aquabidest (control), immersed in Coca ColaŽ, applied by CPP-ACP paste then immersed in Coca ColaŽ, and applied by CPP-ACP paste then immersed in Coca ColaŽ 30 minutes later. There is a significant increase in surface roughness of the specimens immersed in Coca ColaŽ, no significant decrease in surface roughness of the specimens applied by CPP-ACP paste then immersed in Coca ColaŽ, and a significant decrease in surface roughness of the specimen applied by CPP-ACP then immersed in Coca ColaŽ 30 minutes later. It can be concluded that the application of CPP ACP paste either directly immersed in Coca ColaŽ or not, did not show a significant difference in surface roughness.
